Not saying he'll be an All-Pro but Cromartie is playing at a Pro Bowl level this year.

That's true. He is pretty much the Jets lone susperstar at this point.
One of the Seahawks corners might make it.

Their safeties are more likely than their corners, aside from Thomas being toasted by Welker today.

Seattle is legit. Defense is solid. viable weapons, need a qb.
Also, it needs to be Nick Foles time, **** this vick loyalty. Desean's skills are going to waste with a qb that can't get him the ball.

You sound like one of the 49ers fans from the main message board.
Alex has one really bad game and it's time to bench him for someone who has barely had any reps with the starting unit? Sounds pretty stupid to me. Alex may have reached his peak, but it's not time to bench him. The entire team mailed it in today.

Yeah, which is why I don't post there anymore. That place is full of idiots. Like all "team" message boards. It's worse when your team is a consistent loser too.

Why would a team that went to the NFCCG last year and still has an above .500 record bench their starting QB for a raw QB with an extremely low ceiling?
I don't get it :/

I don't think you understand how floors and ceilings work.

Garrett can call a TO on the sideline on his own, he just has no clue what he is doing. This is very similiar to a ton of games we lost at the very end where we mis handled the time. Call a TO with 15 seconds, run the ball for a few yards then spike it. Look at how everyone reacted after the catch, nobody knew what to do, nobody was told what to do, there was no second play ready, it's ridiculous.
If that's not coaching I don't know what is. We are a terribly coached football team. It still amazes me how we find new ways to lose close ball games every week/season.
Willing to give Dez a break for the 2pt conversion because once we got the onside kick and a PI we were in a better situation there then OT would be. Also, without his catch on 3rd and 27 to make it a 4th and 10 we never score a TD to tie it anyway. Frustrating all around though.

Since when does Kaepernick have a 'low ceiling'?? He's big, strong, smart, faster than Newton and has a cannon arm.
If he develops he's going to be a load.
The 49ers upside in the next 3 years is much greater IMO with CK as the QB than Alex Smith.

Joe Haden. His influence on the Cleveland D is almost Revis like.

I also didn't watch much of that game, was primarily watching the Phins-Rams and Lions-Iggles at that time, but I'm pretty sure that AJ did his damage in garbage time, when cleveland was already up by multiple scores.

Exactly. Low ceililng isn't the term I'd use to describe CK. He might never amount to anything but an athletic QB, but I like his odds being under the tutelage of Harbaugh.

He blew past Joe Haden on the 57 yard touchdown, and that was Haden's first game. So...

Cowboys problem looked like a complete lack of leadership. And that sounds like a knock on Romo cause people expect the QB to lead but its more than him. The whole offense had no idea what to do. There wasn't another play called. Everyone just watched the clock go down until it was too late to do anything about it.
Have to have another play ready, or simply have everyone know that you're going to spike it. Someone just had to take command of the situation and no one did.

It was funny because it looked like he was just striding it out and still outran the defense pretty easily. Definitely a sprinter when you saw that run, I wonder if there was another gear he could've went to because it looked pretty effortless.

That's coaching 101 though. That's why they have the option to call a TO from the sideline on their own. At some point, when you see your losing time and your down to 15 seconds, just call the TO. You can get the fg unit ready on the side, run the ball, hope you get 3 yards, spike it, and kick the fg on 4th down. Even if everything was total chaos up to that point, there is no reason that a common fan who just watches football on Sunday should understand that concept while it's happening but the Head Coach doesn't.
I think between the Longhorns game, and that complete fail at the end of the game, I developed some sort of stomach ulcer
