lol I don't even know what to say. I leave around the start of the second half, with the team up 4-0 and I come back to see this happened. All I can do is lol and say how badly we miss Khedira and Hummels. Merte n Bads are just too slow to not **** up, and Kroos just isn't a double pivot yet. He can sit at the tip of a 3 man midfield, but stick him next to Schweini and we have no ball winner, no defensive fortitude up the middle, n if Schweini can't intercept the ball no answer. It's a shame the Benders are hurt to, cause they could do a fine job filling in for Sami.
I can't help but laugh and bring up the 4-3-1-2 I want us to try out again.
Would keep us strong up the middle, keep Ozil free to drift around and create a spot for Kroos' shooting. Although given how well Boateng looked in the part of the match I saw, having him replace Badstuber in the middle soon could be a smart move to.

USA USA USA USA
Guatemala looks like they don't even want to be there, let alone compete or win.

I'm not exactly sure why, but I'm pulling for Jamaica to make the World Cup.

My goodness, did you see the shorts the guy who scored the goal for Antigua was wearing? It looked like he was wearing a pair of boxer-briefs two sizes too small.

So with Antigua scoring, the Jams in or out? I want Cool Runnings to move on.

It always makes me sad watching Mattuschka play, knowing he'll have retired before we ever get tot he 1st BL. He's such a great shooter of the ball and his passing really drives so many of our attacks. At least the academy's coming through as both Quiring and Jopek have been starting a lot and are 1st league caliber talents, so the future is bright if we ever learn to defend.
