Sophomore Watch Thread ('12-'13 Season)

Browns:

-Phil Taylor has been on PUP. He'll return soon though. (rookie DTs are playing great in his place currently).

-Jabaal Sheard has been getting double teamed a lot. Not getting as many sacks as last year but is still playing well and getting pressures.

-Greg Little suckin ass with his drops.

-Jordan Cameron looks really good as a receiving TE. I think he can be our answer as a starter at the position going forward.

-Owen Marecic stinks. Can't catch, below average blocker.

-Buster Skrine. Good enough to be a #4 CB, maybe #3 CB tops but that is a stretch. Has gotten burned a good bit this year, but then again was forced into starting duty due to Joe Haden's suspension and Sheldon Brown's demotion due to age.

-Jason Pinkston. Good pick. Solid starting LG who should be a part of a good young OLine going forward.

-Eric Hagg was our starting FS but that experiment didn't last long and he is a gameday inactive from now on.



Not a bad draft so far. All of those guys have started multiple games. Taylor, Sheard, Pinkston, Cameron all look like permanent starters.....and if Little could turn around his catching woes he could be one as well but it's too early to tell still.
