I generally dislike barleywines, but you can't argue with 11.5% at make your owner sixer prices!

it's a bit sweet, but I cannot taste any alcohol. this is dangerous.

Apparently, you're supposed to store barleywine for a while before drinking to make it stronger/better. This was bottled in March according to the bottle.

inversion's not bad... hop in the dark, chasin freshies, and mirror pond are my favorites from deschutes.

Hop in the Dark is one of my favorite all time beers. I like the Inversion more than the Mirror Ponder as well.

Had one of those this summer just because I couldn't fathom how a single 12 oz bottle ran $5. So I bought one to try it. Super heavy, very tasty. Nothing wrong with 10% abv either.
