We can pregame at my apartment! Honestly though, I expected tickets to be Knicks prices, but there are a bunch of games for under $20.

That's awesome, I got to a few when they were cheap at the Rock but never was a big fan of heading into Newark. I imagine going to the Barclays Center will be a better experience.

Yeah, I'm so excited. I would hump my ass to Newark a couple times a year to see Heat/Laker/OKC games, but BK is so much more convenient. I'll probab;y go to 15-20 games this year.

He was really good in limited minutes with the Hornets last year, so he has value simply because he's a good player. A hell of a lot better than Al Harrington or Glen Davis.

I like Ayon....he has really quick hands for a big guy and is a good defender overall.

Mavs waived Delonte West, truly trying to bomb this season
He should sign with the Lakers imo

Speaking of the Mavs, Jae Crowder has been an absolute monster so far this preseason. Not bad for a combo forward who's like 6'4, 6'5.

So The Mavs got Eddy Curry off waivers and let go of Delonte West. I don't know which move I am supposed to feel worse about lol.

I wouldnt be against it if he was on board with what we were trying to do...but then again he was probably waived for a reason.

Hell no. Though his skill set is excatly what we need.......a scoring combo guard who can play some extended minutes at the 1, you really want to put two bi-polar, unstable guys in one locker room? You want Kobe's alpha-male personality going against this guy's fragile psyche everyday in practice? No thanks. Disaster waiting to happen.
Besides, the worst teams get first dibs on waived players. Very unlikely he lasts long enough for us to have a shot at him.

And I'm going on record now and saying the Lakers will regret waiving CDR. I understand to the extent, we had financial implications and a numbers crunch as to why we couldn't keep him but they will regret it. For a team sorely lacking in guards/wings who can create for themselves outside of Kobe and Nash, you don't waive a guy who could have easily been your most productive bench player sooner rather than later.

The Mavs picked up CDR off waivers as well.

^^^ yea I saw that...
Clips look good. Insanely deep team. They can throw out some many different looks. The West is going crazy difficult this year.

I know you think anyone that's bad at defense is useless, but Al Harrington isn't.

Steve Nash is an awful defender, but he's very useful. Love was a great player before he started to improve his defense. Blake Griffin isn't much of a defender, but he's quite good as well. Steve Novak might as well not exist defensively, but he's incredibly useful. We done?
Al Harrington is a lousy shooter, he doesn't defend, he doesn't pass, and he's overpaid as all hell.

Obvious hyperbole, but Harrington is a good bench scorer who can create his own shot when your best offensive players are on the bench. That has value.

I think you're confusing him with James Harden.

Or any other bench scorer in the league? Because there's more than James Harden, and I'm clearly not putting him on his level.

But he's not a very good bench scorer. He just shoots a lot, and he legitimately held the Nuggets back because he took minutes from much better players. I assume he'll do the same with the Magic, when he takes minutes from Ayon and Nikola.
