Also, Dave Toub is going to get a HC gig this off-season. Hell, it might be the Bears job if Lovie Smith messes up.

Awesome special teams coach of the Bears. A big reason why our special teams is always one of the top units in the NFL. Other teams will take our former special teamers and have them try to teach it to their special teams like the Vikings did with Zach Bowman.

He got interviewed for the Jacksonville job last offseason I recall. After that, we gave him a big new contract (by ST coach standards at least) hoping to keep him around.

Miami interviewed him too, he actually reportedly finished 3rd behind Philbin and Mike McCoy for the job.

Anyways, Ray Horton and Jay Gruden are the top 2 assistants right now to get head coaching positions.

I remember reading an article sometime last year on the success that John Harbaugh has had as a HC and how that might lead to more special teams coaches to get interviews for head coaching positions. Dave Toub is the first person who came to mind for me. I know he's loved by the players in Chicago and he's extremely well thought of around the NFL, I'm curious to see how much interest there is once people start getting the axe.

Sheridan calls te plays and as you all saw he failed to make adjustments. I give him credit he created physicality but u can't continually blitz your safeties when your cbs are getting trounced

I know first hand that Sheridan is garbage but Schiano is a classic micromanager. You can't blame Sheridan without putting the blame on Schiano also.

Agree and disagree. Lets see how they call this weeks game. Might be too hard yes but Sheridan is pulling the same garbage that got him fired in NYG

well Kacy Rodgers has been a very good DL coach while in Miami and I think he deserves a chance to run a defense.

Fans are also at risk of exposure by literally watching their team transition from being a perennial Championship team to a team best remembered for playing at a Chula Vista Waterpark, and losing to the Broncos 35-24. Fans infected with Norvitis will experience different Norvacated side affects such as:

Loss of Appetite, Using Alcohol or other self medications to dull the pain, high blood Pressure, breathing problems; chest pain; frustration, depression lasting days to lasting for multiple seasons. Fans soon become delusional as well by thoughts that even with Norvitis, there is still possibilities of overcoming this virus and be very productive in the play-offs, or that perhaps the virus will dissipate over time.

I think the Bears found a secret formula. Have coordinators who no one in their right minds would hire as head coach but are pretty decent coordinators.

I don't know, he was a good head coach in Green Bay and has built a respectable offense against most expectations.

And isn't Gregg Williams suspended indefinitely? Doubt he finds an NFL job, even as a DC, soon.

He could always go the college route, and would be a slam dunk hire as a DC anywhere. They'd probably have to deal with a lot of negative recruiting regarding "Bountygate," but he's still a great DC and kids would love to play in his scheme.

It may be controversial, but the NFL is based on merit, not character. Teams will always ignore whatever they believe is extraneous to winning. See: Vick, Michael.
