Hunter and Torrey with Flacco's arm would just be unfair.
PF, no Dion in this mock?

I would probably pick either Star or Jonathan Hankins to anchor the middle of that defense...I know they have their issues on the offensive line, but either guy would give them a force on the defensive line, which is really their missing piece on the defense outside of safety

since it's difficult to forecast trades with such early season mocks, it's easiest to slot these picks by BPA at a position of need...i would think that a team would move up at the bottom half of round one to select him

Boldin wasn't a highly regarded WR coming into Baltimore?

He was, but he's 32 now. He's declined a ton in recent years and he's never produced like he did when he had Fitz drawing most of the coverage.

To add along....
3) We have such a tight window to compete under where it makes taking a project QB in round 1 with a top 10 pick seem foolish. We have such dire needs elsewhere that have to take the forefront before a QB. If you want to sell me on taking a QB in round 3 or 4 or 5.....fine. I would not prefer it but I can at least understand. However, we just have needs elsewhere that just do not make sense to go for a QB so high.
Especially not with someone who isn't even a special QB. Tyler Wilson has had multiple concussion issues, that's something that will be monitored and mentioned in the concussion scared NFL we are in today. I can definitely see his stock drop based on that.

That and Boldin isn't used in nearly the same way as he was in Arizona.

Right. Tyler Wilson doesn't have the high ceiling that someone like Logan Thomas or Tyler Bray has. If Jets draft a qb I'd much rather it be a project qb like Logan in the 2nd or something but even that seems unlikely.

Logan Thomas has been probably the greatest disappointment in all of college football this year; clearly not the player that many, including myself, thought he'd progress to be. Tyler Bray has the intriguing tools of being a tall quarterback with the arm to go with the size, but he's a mess as a quarterback. He was a game away from being pulled as the starter. I hope to God that some teams is dumb enough to invest an early pick in one of these quarterbacks because at this point they appear to be nothing more than a waste.

I'd rather see us reach a bit on a DE or DT than take a LB at this point. Give the Saints Werner or Montgomery.

Jones would play DE in New Orleans. Doubt they end up with a top 5 pick though, Brees is just too good I think they at the very least finish 6-10 or 7-9

We are going into week 9 and are currently slotted at 5th, if the season ended today. I'm as optimistic as anyone, but it remains a possibility.

Interesting choice. People haven't noticed him... but his name is Josh Brent. He's really stepped it up this year. I can honestly say that if he plays out the year the way he's started it then, I would scratch that need off the list and I'm one who's been begging for a NT since Parcells first moved us to the 3-4.
I would like more DL help though, that's for certain. Someone like Jesse Williams who could play NT or DE in the 3-4 intrigues me later in the draft. Any more guys like that?

Outside of Jesse Williams, no one stands out to me at this point as a later round option who could provide that versatility.

Haven't seen Trufant this year, but I dig a big corner. Big corners are fun to have. I think I would rather get some help at DT, but CB will do.

I think Hankins would be somewhat of a luxury pick for the Titans. The Titans have spent picks on Jurrell Casey and Mike Martin the past two years, and in their history have only spent one first round pick on a DT (Albert Haynesworth).
The Titans lack playmakers on defense, whether that be as a pass rusher from the DE position or DBs.
