That's not true. Talib can almost always be counted on for a pass interference, illegal contact or defensive holding penalties in critical moments.

I don't give a **** if he is a headcase, I'd gladly take him for a fourth rounder.

Ahaha that reminded me of the Giants game week 2. He held/PI countless times on Nicks and he still made plays on him LOLZ

Just FYI: Talib has one game remaining on his current suspension, so he's not eligible to play for the Patriots until their November 18th game against the Colts.

Yep.
I saw some analysis on ProFootballFocus that showed Talib gave up more passing yards in that game alone than Eric Wright did in all of the first six games of the season combined.

Too bad. Seems like a real knucklehead. The sad thing is that he appeared to be a really talented player coming into the NFL. He just can't get his mind right on and off the field from what has been reported. Dude is running out of chances.

What do you mean? That Moss's demeanor has been a headache? Because he's been pretty civil despite not getting that many opportunities thus far.

Good low risk/high reward move by the Pats.

I'm pretty sure he's saying that Moss has done a good job of trying to shake his reputation as a head case since he's been with the Niners.

The Panthers not moving Williams and The Rams not moving Jackson makes 0 sense.

It makes a lot of sense if nobody was truly interested. I don't think Carolina or STL was interested in giving either guy up for a 6th or 7th round pick to a contending team to help them in the playoffs. Deangelo Williams has looked very pedestrian for years now and has a contract like a top flight RB, Steven Jackson is almost getting outplayed by Daryl Richardson. I highly doubt either team turned down a 3rd, 4th, or 5th round pick, it's just that I don't think anybody was really excited to pick-up any of these guys.

Talib has struggled the past two years in man-coverage based schemes, but the Patriots are really thin at cornerback and a fourth-round pick is a low-risk investment especially considering that New England is looking at a playoff berth. I like the trade.

Yeah this was reported a while ago. Actually you essentially said the same thing in this thread yesterday:
