The chaotic person in me is calling for this.

That would be ridiculous to see that happen. No way can you keep 2 unbeatens from major conferences out of the NC to have a rematch of 2 teams with a loss each.

Well, any chance of McCarron winning the Heisman is gone after that play.

I think Les Miles snuck over to the Bama sideline and started calling plays. Only explanation.

I have to agree here 100%. The whole idea of wildcats there is that you have to worry about 6 threats, rather than just 5. It's the intrigue of the setup to make the defense account for more possibilities.
Ware under center takes that away. And even mor than that outs you at a disadvantage on a dive because of the unfamiliarity on the snap, which clearly played a role there with a bobbled snap.

The computer models seem to like Notre Dame, and I don't see humans disliking them enough to keep them out of the NC if they go undefeated.

I think the humans would drop Bama behind at least Oregon,ND, LSU, and Kansas State.

It all depends on how badly Oregon beats Stanford and the Notre Dame-USC game. If Oregon destroys Stanford (who ND beat by a TD) and ND needs a late FG to beat USC, the voters have to realize Oregon is the better team.

I don't like the call to go for FG. It's basically a Hail Mary of a shot to make it. And a miss gives it at the spot of the kick. Might as well go or it.
