So, so, so glad I watched this episode live. Had to acquire the previous episodes of this season.

I'd love to know when saving her life was ever a realistic option but instead I'm going to sleep.

1. Abort the thing from the start. She had a c-section before, she's probably aware she has trouble with natural births. With the whole world wiped out, it's unlikely she would have ever encountered someone who could preform such a procedure.
2. Go look for Herschel or Carol and grab the medical supplies. Leave one person in the room with Lori and have the other go search. The zombies outside the room didn't cause any problems for Maggie and Carl once they left for the prison yard. It may have not saved Lori's life but it was worth a shot. Then again, Lori is a moronic character so maybe she did force the worst option on them.

Positives:
They killed off a useless character
They killed off a completely unlikable character

It is exactly the same. T-Dog didn't have a single character trait.

That was a pretty great episode. One of the best they've ever done. I can't wait till they start to join the storylines either. I can't see this season slowing down at all.
Say what you will about Carl, but I like what they've done with his character this season.
With the prisoners. If the new black guy is treated anything like the black guy introduced at this point in the comics, he might actually play a somewhat significant role.

Tough break for Carl having to kill his mother like that. By the way, I wonder who was the person watching Carol through the fence a couple of episodes ago when she was practicing cutting a C-section. Unless I'm blanking on something that was already connected.

That is what I initially thought as well, but it just seemed weird to me that he would be spying on Carol at that time, someone he hadn't met. If it was Andrew that scene just didn't seem necessary.

Seriously, just GTFO of this thread with this ****. Lori's decision is actually extremely realisitc. A large portion of women in the real world would do anything and everything, including die, to make sure their child is born. If you only watch the show so you can come in here and troll afterwards, find something better to do with your life for an hour.

LOL I'm done with you The Alex it is obvious you don't watch the show and just find out what happens afterwards and/or copy some other troll BS.
1. They covered the abortion issue last season keep up. Bad character decision maybe but in no way bad writing.
2. Oh yeah lets go out where we just saw two sets of walkers going down both adjacent hallways and go look for a dude with one leg and a chick that you don't know where the **** she is I'm sure all the ******* zombies will just ignore you.
You fail at every level but trolling.

I saw this and it pretty much means I will be catching up and watching this season. Now if they would kill off every other character outside Glen and Darryl I would be a happy guy.

This is the only show where i could get joy and humor out of watching one of the main cast members euthanized.

Was I the only one who found it hilarious when Rick looked right at Carl and just started bawling and yelling "no". I just thought his breakdown was waaaay too over the top.

Yea, because if somebody's wife dies in the real world, they always remain completely calm. A man would NEVER breakdown and cry if his wife dies.

The crying and breakdown was necessary, but that's not my complaint. My complaint is the acting, it just was so bad when he leaned down to be eye-level with Carl and bawled in his face screaming no.
