They ran that exact same play on a 2pt conversion last year against Green Bay in W1. Love it.

Nice forward pass, guys. Too bad you can't do that on a kick-off.

We run that play a LOT in that situation. Or we run the bootleg with Lance moore running to the pylon. I wouldn't cover anything but the pylon to Brees' right when the Saints are inside the 5.

I wish our D-line could do this every game.

I still can't believe the saints have as bad of record as they do.

It's too bad most teams attempt to block.

Why? Their defense has been flat out bad. Plus all of that offseason turmoil + not having their head coach made things worse.

Vick has no pocket presence. He steps up at the most inopportune times and rolls out at the worst times. If Vick starts doing the opposite of his natural instincts, he might just be a pretty decent qb.

Vick's line has also been garbage, to be fair.

"I used to call that with Ricky Watters" -- Jon Gruden
Sometimes I forget that Gruden became an OC when he was, like, 30 years old.

Which play was that I wasn't listening? The HB angle?

It's hard to have pocket presence when your O-line allows as many free runners as they do. I mean....Vick has sucked, but it's justified.

Another turnover. What a nightmare for the Eagles. I'm sure their fans already want this season to end.
By the way, I don't think rookie Foles would help. That offense line is really bad.

Good grief... Philly sucks. How the hell can you only manage 13 points and give up seven sacks against the Saints' D?

Who said the Eagles concerned them and thought they'd make the playoffs earlier today? LoL seriously

I'm happy for the one guy in the entire world who was probably forced to play the saints defense.

In fact, Philly is set up for a postseason run even if they don't win tonight. Their upcoming schedule is very favorable and they aren't far behind NYG, already beat them once, and play them in W17. I'd guess Philly will make the playoffs this year if not as a division winner, then as a 6-seed.
If I was making odds for the NFC playoffs and assumed the top-5 were in, for the 6 seed I'd ranking them:
Philly
Seattle
Detroit
Tampa
Dallas
New Orleans
Arizona
Minnesota
St. Louis
Carolina
9-7 will get you in and Carolina's not a HORRIBLE longshot if they can pull some upsets and only lose 1 down the stretch.
EDIT: I just looked at Detroit's schedule and they play the four best teams in the league. However, ATL and CHI in 16 and 17 might not be playing for anything. Worth noting.

Sorry to call you out but I honestly think you should seriously rethink your philly playoff prediction. This team is on the verge of absolute implosion.

Well I think the team I was looking for was NO.
Again, NO ONE looks to deserve the 6-seed RIGHT NOW besides the Seahawks. That was my point. That Seattle can absolutely start losing with their issues right now. And that one of the presumed dead teams could jump right back in it.
Philly is STILL not out of it although I admit they scored 13 pts against a really bad defense, which is not a start to get to 8 wins...
