Picked up a couple of six packs today that I'll probably be trying tomorrow. I've lurked in this thread a bunch and read good things about Stone in here but never saw it until today so I'm excited about this one.

The Stone IPA is fantastic. I generally like Troegs as well.....didn't love the Mad Elf though as it was too sweet for me. It is 11% though.

Yeah after reading about the Mad Elf that's my concern, the 11% was the other thing that sold the deal for me. Hyped for the Stone IPA though.

Trying to get into scotch too, I've had it before out but never got a bottle for home before. Went with Glenfiddich which I think you (but maybe someone else) had recommended in the liquor thread, so I'm excited about that also.

Glenfiddich and Glenlivet are both great choices as a starter scotch.
