As for God Bless America I thought it was great but you are completely right in that the message could have been a lot stronger and that would have taken the film to another level.

I kinda liked that they left it light and simple. Yes I would've loved to see another Wag the Dog because that's my favorite comedy of all time and in my top 15 films, but the campaign did light-hearted fun well, and frankly, that's Ferrell and Galifinakis's strength. So sticking to that, with a film that easily could've gone too far and become preachy, is a decision I can respect. It still gets a little preachy for my taste, but it didn't ruin the fun.

You'd agree with me a lot more if you just stopped trying so hard to have terrible taste.

Saw the new Bond movie last night. It was pretty cool, predictable but cool. Javier Bardem does a pretty good acting job. Movie ran about 30 minutes too long but whatevs. I enjoyed it and my free poster.

I'm 100% not a fan. It seems the only connection between book and film is simply that they involve zombies, and even in that regard they're different.

Probably cause I didn't read the book, but Brad Pitt on an aircraft carrier fighting zombies sounds good to me.

Skyfall was pretty awesome IMO. Certainly better than the last one (not saying much) but not quite on the level of Casino Royale.

I watched the Amazing Spider-Man again and one thing I realized that I completely ignored when watching it the first time, this version of Peter Parker seems to be on acid all the time. Just seems more weird then geeky. Any one else notice that too?

The new Spiderman was awful.
I've been watching Bond all day in preparation for Skyfall tonight. From Russia With Love, Goldfinger, Licence to Kill, Casino Royale...I'm all jacked up on Bond.

Maybe not the best villain, but I enjoyed Garfield as Parker/Spidey and liked the turns taken as the Stacy family. An unnecessary movie, but not a terrible one.

One of the better Bond movies ever, Skyfall is. Bardem is also a massive improvement on the last few villains.

Fast zombies ******* blow and they look dumb as hell. I am disappointed but hold out hope it can still be a good movie.

They look ridiculous. Completely takes you out of it when the zombies are terrible CGI. I'm sad to hear all the rumours that the movie is having big trouble in production are true.
