He just seemed lonely and quiet to me, but not necessarily on acid. I think the interpretation of Peter in this new version is actually a lot better. Sam Rami's version really went over the top with trying to make Peter a nerd/geek. If it was the 1950's setting in that film, his version would work...and that seemed to be the type of Peter Park we saw in the 2001 version. This one though is into things like skateboarding or whatever and I can see a lot of people that are deemed geeks or nerds being into that kind of thing while still having that label.

Oh yes now it's getting approved into a full length movie. I have to say I'm not high on the premise. The Mortal Kombat idea was already fantastic in what it was when it came out in 1995, but it didn't try to be more than it was and I really liked that about the film. Actually out of all the video game films released and the ones I've seen, I probably like that one the best. This upcoming project though, which apparently involves a supermarket clerk that gets superpowers or something and gets involved in Mortal Kombat...well that small description doesn't sound interesting to me. I'd have to see it context, but judging from the web series and what I heard, it might be a big disaster. Cool they're try something new with the franchise, the producers might be biting off more than they can chew.
