Bears score a TD, and then the game ends on a tie. I'm calling it now.

What a stupid throw by Campbell on first down. The defender was right there to tackle him all the way. Not only was it a two yard loss, but 20 seconds came off the clock. Throw it away next time, dumbass

Nice defensive game. Kind of went down the drain in the second half. Maybe the Texans will get the crown this week. Kind of tired of hearing about the Bears so much in media sessions.

Campbell vs. Kaepernick on MNF. That should be fun.

It was an awesome game! I regret Cutler got injured in the first half, but a win is a win. I'm so happy my team made a statement tonight!

Are they required to sit out the week after a concussion, or are you just guessing they won't play?

Both just have to be cleared by an independent neurologist.

I wouldn't exactly call it a statement, both teams looked like crap on offense. Houston was only slightly less craptastic.

Griffin started the week after a concussion so the rules don't matter.

Might want to take a look at Tyler Eifert, he'd look good in that offense.

I tell you what that Henry Melton kid reminds me of Geno in some ways. Haven't seen much of him aside from this game but he looked awfully good and his skill set is similar to Geno's. These smaller DTs could be something to look at moving forward. 97 is just a manimal with incredible athleticism for a guy his size, even though he may be small by NFL standards.

You can apparently add Dashon Goldson's name to the list of players who didn't know ties could happen.
Quote:
|
“I’ve never heard of a tie in football,” Goldson said, via Matt Maiocco of CSNBayArea.com. “Where’s everybody going? Did somebody quit? Forfeit?”
|
If I was a coach, I'd sit down with my players before the season and makes sure that they are, in fact, aware that ties can happen just to avoid any of them looking like idiots should one occur.

It would, maybe, be justifiable if one didn't happen just a few years ago

Goldson's comments are at least funny,
Quote:
|
"I didn't know you could tie," 49ers safety Dashon Goldson said, via the Bay Area News Group. "When I saw both sides walking onto the field, I was like, 'Where's everybody going?'
