I don't understand how the Chiefs are so bad. It just doesn't make sense. They have some very talented players, obviously underperforming, where a 9-7 or 10-6 shouldn't be a out of the realm of possibilities. Not a Chiefs fan at all, but I hate to see a (semi)-talented (*cough* Dallas *cough*) team look (almost) as bad as the 0-16 Lions. Not literally, but you get the point.

I've never used that many parenthesis in one sentence before.

Because it's more than just what names you have on paper. Talent and potential mean nothing if you can't execute.

I know that obviously, execution is the difference between bad/good/great teams. Yes teams have better players, but these are the best of the best football players in the world, so the pure athleticism and talent isn't completely different. Meh, personally I thought they were overhyped by a lot of people heading into the season. Maybe we're seeing that now. Even when they had that good year in 2010, their schedule was ridiculously easy, and when they got to the playoffs and faced a really tough team they got stomped on.
