Steelers are 0-4 against the Ravens without Ben. He's gonna end up missing both games this year.
And there goes the season.

I'm not saying Byron is the savior or the answer. All I'm saying is that he's more than capable of moving the offense and winning games for the Steelers.

I wouldn't be happy if Leftwich was my starter, but in the realm of backups he ain't that bad. I worry that his lack of mobility will be more prominent with that OL. Ben's mobility covers up a lot of flaws.
He ain't no Shaun Hill though.

The Steelers can win a few games with Leftwich. And the Ravens defense is not what it used to be, so that's a plus. Should still be a good game against the Ravens if Roethlisberger can't play.

With the exception of putting up 50 on a bad Raiders defense and 30 on a bad Patriots defense the Ravens offense hasn't exactly set the world on fire. The Steelers need to key on Ray Rice and force Flacco to beat them.
The Ravens defense isn't even a shell of it's former self either, both in the run and pass game.
I just worry for Pitt without Ben if they can run it just enough to let Leftwich sit in the pocket off play action. If the Steelers go down big and he has to pass them out of it then I don't see any chance.
Overall I see Baltimore taking a pretty ugly 20-10 win

Nice! It's weird to think the Buccaneers actually have a competent offence for once...

Let's hope that Jason Campbell can continue the trend this year of quality play at the QB position chucking the ball up to Brandon Marshall.

So what was up with the terrible attendance for the Steelers on Monday? Didn't seem like there were as many people as usual.

It was pouring and freezing. Game was sold out, not sure whst the gate attendance was, but I'm wilmg to bet people were hiding undercover inside the stadium.

OK BORING.
Bills 34, Dolphins 10
1st Quarter
Johnson 10-yd pass from Fitzpatrick
Carpenter 38-yd FG
2nd Quarter
Graham 17-yd pass from Fitzpatrick
Lindell 41-yd FG
Spiller 8-yd run
3rd Quarter
Tannehill 5-yd run
Spiller 32-yd pass from Fitzpatrick
4th Quarter
M. Williams 20-yd fumble recovery
If this isn't 100 pct. accurate I'll be shocked.

Don't think it has been mentioned yet but Jim Harbaugh went to the hospital today for a minor procedure to correct an irregular heartbeat.

Frankly, this is not very surprising. Judging by his sideline demeanor the man has some anger issues

I think this will be their fourth primetime game. They don't have anymore the rest of the season. They just happened to have two back to back. The Bears are doing the same thing having played last Sunday night and now playing this Monday. Before the game against the Chiefs, their last primetime game was against the Titans in early October, and before that it was the opening weekend. Most of the good teams get 3-4 primetime games. San Francisco has four this year. One team might have five, but I can't remember.

I'm pretty sure teams are limited to a max of 5 primitive games a year. And there's a good handful of teams that get that many because they draw better. Just the way things work.
And this is the Steelers 5th of the year. Broncos and Bengals were both road Sunday night games, Titans on a Thursday and the Cheifs last Monday and the Ravens this week. Personally I'd rather them play every week Sunday at 1. Just the way I like watching them.

Why do the Bears have a 3rd Monday night game this week? Must really suck for Bears fans.

I'm trying to remember the last time the Dolphins had something resembling a competitive special teams unit....
