That was some of the worst pocket presence I've ever seen by Weeden. The pocket started closing around him but he had lanes to get out of it. Decided taking a sack and fumbling was a better move.

Weeden isn't aware of the concept of stepping into the pocket. He is a pig farmer, not a quarterback.

Jerry Jones not even celebrating after that fumble recovery. He knows that his team can still screw up.

Impressive drive by Newton and the Panthers. That's the guy we want to see.

Nice call. Of course the Cowboys can't just win.

LOL Dallas. Jerry Jones knew this was coming too. That's the best part.

Every year without fail except 2011. Every year. This group of QBs isn't THAT bad. They're not close to the group that came out last year, but people always say this about the current group of QBs. They did it to Stafford, they did it to Ryan, they will do it this year and continue to do it next year. People keep saying it but it doesn't make it true.
Geno looked pretty good against OU yesterday. Not lights out, but he played very well against a good team.
And lastly, it's November, not April. Someone (or multiple someones) always separate themselves from the pack and are worthy of the top spot. This year will be no different.

You are putting these words into my mouth. I said none of those things about any of these people. I was the one trying to convince Falcons and Lions fans to shut the **** up and accept the fact they are getting Ryan over Dorsey (lol) and Stafford over Curry (double lol.)
MY point was, that earlier in the season, when all of these guys were lighting it up, there was a lot of talk about how this could be another great class. Geno, for instance, was averaging like 80% completion percentage and hadn't thrown a pick. I've gotten to see him extensively in recent weeks against Texas Tech, K State, TCU and now Oklahoma. If all you do is look at the stat line against Big 12 defenses, any QB is still going to come away looking statistically impressive. But he made inexplicably terrible decisions that led to picks and killed drives. Just things that a senior QB in this 3rd year starting with high draft pick aspirations should not be doing.
I have personally pointed out several times that we were spoiled in the past 2 years with QB classes. Last year's was clearly the best in a long time, and even 2010 saw a lot of guys with big potential going at the top.
Now we are rebounding to average. This is much more "typical" QB class, but I think it's trending downward even further than that. I can't look at any of these guys and say with confidence that I feel they have franchise QB potential.

Or Tim Couch, Akili Smith, Daunte Culpepper, Joey Harrington, David Carr, Blane Gabbert. Not all QBs are created equal.

The Receivers coach for the Browns needs a raise for whatever he did to Greg Little to get him to catch balls.

Shurmur's gunna kick a field goal here...isn't he. That would be a very clever way to lose this game.

I totally agree. I do think Landry Jones is rising up draft boards along with Glennon. Smith and Barkley are falling and Wilson is a wildcard in terms of first rounders. I know I will get **** for saying this but Jones is really impressing me as of late. Glennon is good - streaky and lacks the weapons of Smith or Barkley but still manages to put up numbers.
