As an IU grad having seen every one of his freshmen home games in person and meeting him a few times I'd love to have him; however, I kind of worry about his long term potential. His offensive polish at this stage is so excellent though. I would welcome him, no doubt.

Metta should be playing instead of Leftwich for Pitt.

We'll finish with the worst record, let Evans go in RFA, get screwed in the Lottery once again and then become the Sonics.
I really hope the NBA forces the Maloofs to sell already. This team needs a change of identity in the worst way.
Oh well, at least we'll have Cousins with Shabazz/Noel/Zeller.

Both of those contracts are terrible. But, if i would have had the money, i would have bet the house on Indiana finishing under 57 wins. We all saw it coming.

yeah but Bropez has been REALLY good offensively. so i'm ok with it.
Also, still, Blatche. Like, what? Imagine if he was actually good off the bench? Him and Reggie Evans are just so awesome.
our whole team is actually kinda hilarious. Outside of Hump because **** him.

Getting Raymond Felton was the biggest steal of the offseason. I knew Felton would pan out for us.
He's been lights out. I said he'd average 15 and 9 (i think?).
So far he's averaging 16 and 6. Those assist numbers are down bc we play 2 PGs with Kidd on the floor so he takes some assists away from Felton.
But yeah. I guess I knew what I was talking about afterall huh?

Well what do you expect? They are playing against the Rockets.
I swear Im getting fed up with Lin. He's already shooting 35 percent this season and thats before he went 2-9 tonite. He's still recovering from his knee surgery but damn it Lin. Can you atleast have one game where you dont shoot like ****? It's early I know but Lin isnt showing any improvements in his shooting. He was guarded by a scrub and still couldnt take advantage of that.

Lin's shot is just off right now. I think he's distributing the ball well, running the offense, and playing pretty solid defense, but man, he needs to get that shot going.

Trip-Doub for Kobe, but he's inefficient and the 3rd most important player on the team.

Oh no question. He is doing good in other area's(dont like his d sometimes though) but damn I just hate how he seems less confident this year when attacking the basket. I mean is his knee worse then we thought? Is he just going through a mentally funk where he is afraid to attack? I dunno but I wish he would go back into beast mode again. We really need the NY Lin back or atleast close to it. Harden cant do it alone and its hard to count on other guys to step it up night in night out.

I think a lot of it is that the defense doesn't respect our post players. They'd much rather Lin and Harden kick it to Asik/Patterson than let them take it to the hoop, so they just stand in the paint and leave those two open.
I think it'll also take a bit of time for him and Harden to mesh. Harden handling the ball for extended periods of time takes Lin out of rhythm, he's not an off the ball player. And yeah, it looks like he doesn't have the same confidence. He should pick it back up as he gets more games in him though.

Lights out? I mean, he's been solid but FAR from lights out. His shooting is far too inconsistent. I don't expect a whole lot from him. If he gives us this production I'll be happy but I certainly wouldn't call him lights out by any stretch of the imagination. Just average, to be honest.
It's sort of funny though because you've been clamoring how talent and stars win but we've been winning in spite Melo's inconsistencies and because of our wealth of solid role players.

Indeed. Granted, he shoots the ball like five times a game, but he's been very very solid now that he's not in a ball dominating/important role.
I just wish I didn't hate his guts as a human being though.
