The Knicks are 8-1. WTF are you complaining about?
And the Mike Woodson hate on this forum has to stop. The guy is a good coach. Look at how he turned around the Knicks. We have the best defense in the league.
Everyone says he didn't do well in Atlanta. Really? Look at the Atlanta rosters he had. Did he not maximize the potential of that team? That team was destined to be a playoff 1 and done or maybe 2nd round type of team, and nothing more. And Woodson accomplished that with them. Wth else was he supposed to do? Take them to the Finals? Get real.
I love every move the Knicks have made this offseason. Granted, I wanted to keep Lin, but getting Felton and Kidd was a nice consolation prize. We brought in tough big guys for depth, we got Brewer as a defensive minded rotation guy, we are maximizing the potential of Melo at the 4, Chandler do what Chandler do.
It all comes down to Stat, and what happens when he comes back. But we have a championship caliber team as long as these old bodies can hold up all season.

Yeah ok. Keep dreaming.
SWDC. Where the Wolves and the Nuggets meet in the WCF.
Gotta love it.
There are only 3 teams in the West that have any chance of going to the Finals: The Lakers, OKC, and SA.
In the East, it's Miami, NYK, and Boston.
That's it. It's that simple. Basketball isn't a complicated sport.

In the east, it's Miami. No other team is getting in.

Realistically yes. That's correct.
But New York and Boston have a puncher's chance. Not saying they'll do it, but they have a puncher's chance.

Oh, well whatever then. He has to be doing something right with how they are playing right now.

I used to have the Lakers as a lock to go to the NBA Finals but I'm not sure anymore. D'Antoni could find a way to screw this up. Especially with his small rotation.
Dwight is healing and Kobe is old, but watch D'Antoni ride both of them into the ground anyway during the regular season by playing them too many minutes.

He's been great ever since he took over last year. The second he became our head coach, he took a team that didn't play a lick of defense and had us as the best defense in the league during his tenor.
He didn't get an offseason to bring in his type of guys and develop his type of mindset for the team, which is why we were ultimately unsuccessful. That and the lack of any backcourt whatsoever.
But this year he got to bring in his guys, develop his style of play, and the results speak for themselves. My only concern is these old bodies holding up all season, and how Stat will effect our chemistry.
We have enough depth that guys should be able to take a game or 2 off during the season. Woodson has to manage it well.

Mitch will make a move for some depth...he always does.
Collins saying he has a log jam of shooters, maybe Dorrell Wright is the odd guy out. Would be a great fit. We need to find some shooters.

Might have to move Artest. I don't see how he fits D'Antoni's system. D likes having 3 guys at the 3 point line and the PG and C/PF pick and rolling. That's basically his offense.
I don't see how Artest fits into that picture at all.

Metta is actually balling offensively now that he doesn't have to think anymore.

Can he sustain that though? Or is it just a hot streak?

I really think they should try to trade him. It'd be an exaggeration to say sell high but his trade value is probably higher now then any point moving forward. They could definitely use a legit rebounder next to Tyson.

I actually wouldn't be surprised. They haven't looked that good and their 3 losses came at 2 blowouts and one loss where the game was never in question by the start of the second half. Definitely, wouldn't put it past lebron to turn it up a notch in the playoffs but Wade is slumping, Chris Bosh is legit but is prone to having poor shooting nights and Lebron doesn't get to the FT line as much as I would like.

I actually believe he has the capability to do that. I just don't know if the opportunity will be there for him to do that every night.

He has the ability to hit 4 of 10 wide open corner 3's a game. Which is very realistic to get in this offense with our players. Anything to keep him from driving to the lane.

When he drives he has like tunnel vision and can't find (or doesn't look for) the open man.
But I do like him knocking down open threes or getting buckets in transition.

The Thunder should wait until Eric Bledsoe is a RFA, poison pill the clippers. Trade Westbrook for an equivalent center.

If the thunder are willing to offer the max, because I'd imagine someone in need of a PG may offer that. Regardless if he shows he deserves it by the time he hits RFA.
