Barrett Jones falling that far? Is his stock falling because I'd take him in a heartbeat in the 1st.

Not a bad pick for NO, but one I hadn't given much thought to. Alas, I didn't see those first few losses either, and my eyes got big thinking about being in that top 10 spot.

He's probably purely and interior prospect at this point, and he doesn't have overwhelming physical tools. He just looks to me like one of those college All-Everythings whose pro prospects don't QUITE match his press clippings.
BTW, notice I didn't have Jonathan Cooper going until the 47th pick overall, and he is much more athletic. I always have a hard time projecting interior O linemen.

I'm not a fan of Tavon Austin in the first round, especially considering how well Julian Edelman played last week. Kenny Vaccaro seems like someone the Patriots may be interested in, although now that Devin McCourty is reportedly going to play safety on a more full-time basis, New England may feel comfortable with a Gregory/Tavon Wilson platoon at strong safety even if Patrick Chung leaves in free agency.

I view Austin as a rich man's Julian Edelman. He is far more explosive. Austin would give the Patriots a big-play threat they currently don't have.

The point is that Edelman is already playing well in that role in New England, so why create a need just to fill it? It would be a better idea to look for more of a boundary receiver if you were going to look at that position.
By the way, Julian Edelman is very quick and explosive. He may not have elite speed, but look at his pre-draft workouts. Compared to the 2012 wide receivers last year, Edelman would have posted the second-fastest cone drill and the fastest shuttle. His 10-yard split, vertical jump, and broad jump were better than T.Y. Hilton's.

really good KC mock. i would rather have Cordarelle Patterson than Woods, but thats just getting nit-picky. position value is there for both Smith and Woods as far as KC is concerned.

The Jets don't really have a particular need for Star, in fact they basically have young, talented guys for all 3 DL spots in a 30 front and both tackle spots in a 40 front, plus a strongside end. That said they could use talent so even though it's far from a need he looks like BPA there so I can't complain too much.
I'd be more than fine rolling the dice on Glennon in the second.

I don't see Jacksonville taking Corey Lemonier, Auburn DE he is pretty much a recreation of Quentin Groves

Yeah, just about perfect. Especially if they could also add a safety in the third.

hmm not crazy about the skins using their 2nd round pick on a wr...don't see it considering the concerns on defense.

Seems like a possible Bills draft to me, both players from the south eastern US, and I have heard that they like Manuel and have been scouting him heavily. Banks is my #1 rated corner, and personally I would not mind it at all, but they did draft Gilmore in the first round last year and Williams in the 2nd the year before, Nix has said he likes to draft a corner every year, but 3 within their first 6 picks in 3 consecutive drafts, with 2 first rounders? I dont see it. Teo makes sense in that they need a linebacker, and the defense needs some heart and soul type leadership, he's not from the SE, so would Nix do it? History says not... They could really use a upgrade at WR, there is no real #2 on the team, and Hopkins really makes sense to me, and Austin would make sense in thier spread if Gailey is still in Buffalo running the offense next year. Chances getting slimmer by the week.
No Tyler Wilson or Jake Matthews?
Rumor has it the Bills like Manual, I never have and think he is over-rated. Word was they really wanted a safety to replace Wilson last year, and might have taken Barron were he available. Wouldnt surprise me to see them take one in the first two rounds of the 2013 draft, Lester and McDonald make sense, as might a LB if they dont take one in the frist round.
My needs for the Bills: 1 - A QB (it took Fitzy 10+ weeks to hit his first deep ball of the season. 2/3/4 - LB/WR/SS in no particular order yet.
