North Carolina is getting destroyed by Indiana right now. Really bad shot selection by UNC overall and nothing is dropping.

Indiana looks real this year, I love the pace they play at. Cody Zeller is having a great night and their new PG Yogi Ferrell looks really good.

Zeller seems like one of those players that plays better against decent teams as opposed to beating up on cupcakes. Showed off some of that new found vertical last night too. Hopefully he ends up somewhere decent at the next level and doesn't rot away with some team like the Wizards.

There's still things he needs to work on (strength, jump shot, etc.) but I just love how hard he plays. You don't see that kind of motor in many big men.

He definitely looked like he was sleep walking against inferior opponents earlier. He brought a heightened level of intensity along with the rest of the team that severely escalated quality of his play. I was beginning to think that mediocre showings previously such as the GT game depicted that he might have been trailing off, but not last night.

I'm most anxious to see him up against Payne/Nix in conference play.

He's strong for his build, but he can still use some work in that area if he wants to bang night in night out against NBA bodies. He has the frame to put on some weight though, not really worried about it.

And lol Josh Smith. The guy is 900 pounds, I don't think UCLA is that upset about losing his fat ass.

Smith is from down the road from here in Kent Wash. Should have stayed away from the Krispy Kremes.

We played pretty well in the first half up in Cameron. The 2nd half the wheels completely fall off and the offense hits a wall. This team doesn't have much scoring with DeShaun being worthless when he isn't getting looks and Ross isn't getting minutes. Sucks to lose that one.

I'm pretty sure if any major conference school had gotten the #1 recruiting class with 2 top 5 players in it that they could easily be ranked #13 (or wherever UCLA started). Josh Smith was also playing like 10 mpg because his fat ass could only handle about 2 minutes at a time (not even kidding). Lamb's transfer is also understandable as Shabazz, Adams, and Powell are all blocking his minutes and UCLA has a couple of 4 star SGs coming in next year. So for him it was either transfer or ride pine for the rest of his college career.

That being said they really have looked poor this year and its all on Howland, although I think its too early too judge right now. If they do flop this wouldn't be the first time he highly underachieves with the #1 recruiting class. He's still getting by on those couple Final 4 appearances early in his career, but if this team fails he will very likely be gone.
