Hell, I'd still take him in KC. He's an upgrade over Belcher for sure.

You can't have him. You will ruin in him. He needs to go somewhere with stability, a good coaching staff and great veterans in the locker room. I still think Baltimore is the best for him.
I could see him succeeding in the 49ers' scheme as well, but obviously not with Willis and Bowman locked up longterm.

I'd be willing to give him a look in Baltimore. We could use the ILB depth if Ellerbe misses significant time. Not sure if we could do it with his contract though.
It's nice to have a strong locker room with a Ray Lewis because if a guy is slipping he will get on them and set them back in line. Some players are too much of a hassle but we can take on a Jimmy Smith with out too much worry.

I'd take him in Pittsburgh. Larry Foote is a FA at the end of the year and we need a new backer.

An oversized SEC linebacker who struggles in pass coverage? The guy is destined for NE because we don't have any of those.

No. I won't allow it.
He can't go to New England either.

Sure. But right now I think he'd do better in a 3-4.

We'll most likely put a claim on him and have a pretty ****** record, so we have a good shot at him.

Dunno why there's so much interest in McClain. He's a two-down linebacker. He's good against the run overall, but with occasional bad awareness that lets a guy jet right past him. He's a huge liability in coverage.
Last year, he was good at rushing the passer, so there's that...but he hasn't gotten pressure at all this year. Every team in the league has at least one guy just like him who ISN'T making stupid money.

If you were starting Ernie Sims at ILB in a 3-4 on every down you would have interest too.

Nice spot for McClain would be the Jets. And they need help at ILB.

Doesn't look like McClain is going anywhere, for now. Raiders have suspended him two games.

They already have a terrible ILB who can't cover. Why do they want another one?

It's a tiny sample size, of course, but PFF's verdict was that he allowed zero pressures at RG and retained his above-average run blocking.

Seems like Titus Young Sr might hit the waiver wire pretty soon.
