That was Bills-esque.
Oh well. 12-0 Buffalo will be there next year.

I had a sneaking suspicion that UCLA wasn't really putting it all on out on the table last week against Stanford (why would they?).

Did you hear that reporter that asked Jim Mora Jr. about the possibility of leaving some things off the table in last week's game? Mora was not happy about that question.

yep. I mean you can also look at it this way, last week it literally meant nothing to UCLA while it meant everything to Stanford.
Also, UCLA's D has looked straight up nasty this game. I know no one is watching this game but they've played amazing especially their run D; taking away both the inside and the outside.

I'm still sore over Washington opting for Sarkisian over Mora.

So we should turn college football into a minor league version of the NFL and have 7-6 MAC champs in the playoffs?
I don't think so.

So I take it the NFL playoffs sucks too because half the teams don't play in it lol. Just let it go. Anything past 8 teams will just be watered down.

Crappy basketball teams who win their conference make it to March Madness. Crappy baseball teams who win their conference make it to the baseball tournament. Why not crappy football conference winners.

That's not what I'm saying. Half of the teams are excluded from this playoff from day one because they aren't SEC, B1G, Big XII, SEC, or PAC 10. This would be like the NFL saying "Hey NFC West, AFC West & AFC North, even if you are undefeated at the end of the year, you aren't going to the playoffs."

Shaw gets alot of credit for going to Kevin Hogan. Hogan has looked pretty good in his small sample of work. Stanford is really one of the best football teams out there - I love how they run the ball and count on strong defense to win games rather. It shows that this type of football can still succeed in the spread era.

Yea - Alabama and LSU go by that philosophy. Auburn and Florida both had good defenses but the offense was more of the focal point.

Landry Jones likes throwing the ball right at TCU players.
