Just staying in the south, I'd rather go to Tennessee, Florida State, Georgia, and Florida. Expand it and I'd rather go to Texas, Oklahoma, USC, Cal, and Oregon.

ND might not have a good chance, but they have a chance.

Miami lost to OSU in 2002 with an entire roster of NFL players.

This... He was going for the touchdown. Reason Georgia didn't spike is because their going against Bama's Defense, probably wanted to try and make sure they didn't get a chance to regroup. If you know what play you're running, no need to let Saban tell his players what play to expect, or how to position the D.

Meh, Oregon doesn't produce too many nfl qbs. Mariota was actually a low level 3 star recruit according to rivals.

This makes me think Chip Kelly is the best coach in FBS considering Oregon is never in the top 5 in recruiting.

Except your exposure mostly involves handing the ball off.

I actually think Golson's mobility will give Bama some trouble. Also Eifert could be a factor in the middle of the field.

What Alabama has going for them is Saban is going to have a month to prepare and Notre Dame doesn't play the same type of defenses week to week like they see in the SEC.

They should just let Nebraska and Florida State get a bye. It's ridiculous that Wisconsin and Georgia Tech can get into a championship game totally by default.

yeah but Bama hasn't produced ANY qb prospects. Oklahoma would be high on my list as well.

The only qb they have in the league is a 3rd stringer on the Jets.

Schools like Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee play the same competition, get the same great exposure but have better track records of developing QBs and putting them in the pros. If I were an elite recruit, and I had two options: 1). Go to Alabama, win two National Titles, and get drafted in the 5th round or 2). Go to Kentucky, go to one bowl game, and get drafted in the first round, I'm going to Kentucky.

Yeah, I'd stay the hell out of the SEC as a top QB prospect. It has a high concentration of great defenses and running the ball other than just for balance is a thing that still exists.

If I'm an uber elite prospect, I'm going to USC. They're always going to have fantastic talent around you and they're always going to be NC and conference favorites. They've also cranked out more first round pick QBs than some major conferences in the last 10 years.

If that isn't an option, I'd look at Notre Dame (history, academics and a national television deal for exposure,) Stanford (one of the best educations you can get, still a quality program,) or just other places in the Pac-whatever and ACC. They seemed to still be recognized as stronger conferences, defenses aren't all that great, and you're not in the obscenely wide open offenses that'll get you called a system QB like the Big 12 has.

And "B1G," which I hate typing because it's ********, I'm sorry. But who was the last highly drafted QB to come out of there? Chad Henne in the 2nd round? Kerry Collins was the last first round I think...in 1995.

Really? Can you name quarterbacks in today's league? Georgia has Stafford Tennessee has manning and Florida has...tebow? Grossman?

There are four quarterbacks starting in the NFL from the Big Ten (Brady, Brees, Wilson, Henne-Kyle Orton moonlights from time to time). Certainly not great, but not as bad as it looks by talking about Kery Collins.

Also, Nebraska is going to blow this. Idiots.

Wilson sucked at NC State. No way in hell he goes before the 6th round if he comes out instead of transferring to Wisconsin.
