If Dwight didnt suck at freethrows you wouldn't complain.
So if a team was down and they foul instantly that isn't basketball either?

LOLAKERS
And forcing a team to make their free throws is the same thing as forcing them to shoot only threes, or to close out the perimeter and force them into the paint. It's absolutely basketball, it's part of the game. If you didn't have two colossal failjobs at the line, i'm sure you wouldn't have a problem with it.

So teams shouldn't do it because it doesn't fit your definition of basketball? This is an absurd argument.

Dwight was like 5/8 from the line during the hack-a-dwight portion, so it really didnt cost LA the game.

My original argument is that it just needs to be an on ball foul. If Dwight gets the ball, sure hack the **** out of him, but for as soon as he inbounds the ball someone just grabs him....that is ridiculous.

The Lakers have allowed 74 points in their last two 4th quarters...so yeah it's probably that.

How the **** did the Rockets come back and win that game? One of the craziest games I've ever seen.
And I'm sure I will only be saying this once this season....but God Bless you Toney Douglas. You sir played like you actually belong in the rotation.

That's strategy, and i'm pretty sure everyone else is allowed to do it as well. They're not gonna change the rules of the game, off ball fouls happen all the time unintentionally, they're not gonna give free throws and the ball to the opposing team.

Don't be ridiculous. The league should design all of it's new rules to mask the Lakers' flaws.

It's not even a good strategy, fouling Dwight every possession yields more points than a neutral possession.

I no longer trust mike d'antoni.
Btw, harden is no very good. Him and lin cannot work well together. One should come off the bench.
I don't think it'd be that surprising to see the Heat get surprised in the playoffs (barring lebron just deciding to go off). They really haven't been that good. (neither have we, definitely)
Strange season of basketball.

You will not use logic when facing an argument. Using lame things like evidence and articles is stupid, when you can shout things and pretend you know what you're talking about.

I don't know but fouling a guy that sucks at free throws as fast as I can to save time and miss some big free throws sounds kind of good to me. Cause in a coach's head he's doing the math for statistical evidence to weigh in the difference between fouling dwight or not.

I'd be interested in seeing how those numbers change when he has to shoot them in a high pressure situation.
