What. A. Boss. Why don't we do that every time anyone lines up 10 yards off Dez?

I want to see more of that. Throw Dez the ball and let him make things happen. He's growing and looking great guys. :D

I'm starting to blame Romo for that. He should be smart enough to see that and pick up on it. Maybe he's worried that the CB will change his coverage at the last minute, but they've been off like that since the beginning of the game.

Eh. From what has been released Romo is given 2 plays (pass and a run) and then he makes the decision at the line. I don't think he's given free reign under Garrett.
Claiborne! :D

I love how Murray has played today, but they don't need to play him now while they're icing it. Since Felix is mistake prone put Tanner in there because they need Murray for the long haul.

Ugly win(again) but I'll take it. Sadly our schedule is looking much harder, and if we let the Eagles take us to the final seconds there are no easy wins. Steelers and Saints I almost want to count as an L right now, Steelers because they are a much better coached and disciplined team and Brees will destroy us with no argument, Weeden and Foles had their way with us.
Cincy and Washington will be hard fought games and I wouldn't count out us getting blown out in 1 of them. Just don't have much to get excited for with how we start games.
It's also so nice to see Dez evolve. He's on pace for over 90 catches, 1300+ yards and 11 TD's. And he's off of punt returns(thank God). Back in October after the Chicago game you had the idiot Cowboy fans all over the internet talking about trading him which isn't unusual for how impatient some of our fans are. He's just turned into an absolute stud now and he's not anywhere near as good as he's going to get, I don't think he's hit his prime just yet.
Crazy to think what his numbers could be without a few called back, and dropped TD's earlier. He's showing up now, stayed healthy this year too which I wasn't sure he could do with his playing style. His progression all 3 years in the league have been ascending up consistently.

I think that all the hype got Dez too anxious to make plays early in the year. This is year 3 for him, and he was having many people saying that this was the year he became a monster. I think that he was so giddy to make plays that he turned the ball over and had bad mistakes. He needed to settle down a bit, run his routes correctly, then let his natural ability take over.
He's also clicking with Romo now, and that's a huge deal because he's the last major part of the passing game that hasn't done that up until now. Romo and Witten have had great chemistry for years, and Austin and Romo go back to when both were scout teamers. Now that they've gotten a feel for each other they're looking on point.
The big question is always Dez's head, but the good thing is that he's got a desire to make big things happen. You want receivers like that because they step up when you need it. Not to mention Austin and Witten both have that type of mentality too, so they gotta keep these guys close. Just make sure Garrett doesn't **** it up. It takes his ass way too long to figure out that the defense is asking for some slants or hitches.

Our offense carried us in this game, because our defense was awful. I think Rob Ryan called a very bad game, giving Foles too much time.
Anyway, gimme a healthy Murray, Lee and Carter for the whole season and despite ore woes we're winning the division.
Dez was simply a beast!

Wow our defense is terrible!!! Thankful for the win. Does it just seem like it has clicked for Dez or what? Good to see Murray back. If he were fully healthy, he would've had 125 yards last night.

2 things scare me about the Bengals. AJ Green and their defensive line.

Don't even get me started. We have been letting Riley Cooper posterize us in the red zone, AJG should score at least 2 TD's minimum. I don't know what's going on with our CB's, I'm not worried, but they are playing way below their ability. Both Carr & Claiborne have let scrubs score on them here recently, not sure what's going on but I'm not even going to sweat AJG. He'll go completely nuts against us, and we just have to hope we can shut down everyone else.

Things I hate about Jason Garrett:
1. He insist on keeping Doug Free at RT. How often did we hear Parnell's name called at LT when he started? Think about it. But every week you see Free getting spun around like a turnstile. It's the most obvious choice to go to Parnell there but we have to look like the contract wasn't a mistake. Season is on the line and we'd rather prove a point then win games.
2. Double reverse to Kevin Ogletree WTF? Why is he even out there on the field(back to point 1) when Beasley and Harris are better players? We act like he's a 1st round pick. I do not get our fascination with him. It's stupid because of who we ran it with, the timing of it, the run game was working, just idiotic.
3. Ignoring Dez in the 1st half. DRC and Aso line up 10 yards off, and we do a 7 step drop with routes way downfield with Doug Free as our RT. Sound gameplanning. You take that quick hitch all 1st quarter, once you realize they are biting you have an easy double move for a long TD. Until then it's easy yards. Plus, nobody likes to tackle Dez, why wouldn't you make DRC have to, see if he can, on the 2nd TD Dez had that route was open all game and I bet Dez turns it into a 1st down numerous times.
4. Seems like he wants our offense to be a vertical offense, but we don't have the blocking to hold up for it. It seems obvious to get us into a wide open, quick hitting offense. We do it in the 2nd half while losing though. We let romo go Shotgun, 4-5 wide, and make quick reads/throws. He barely has to drop back or let routes develop, Witten and Dez both excell at this and so does Austin on the quick slants. Beasley is great at it. But we want to run everyone 25 yards downfield and act surprised when at the end of a 7 step drop Romo is getting hit immediately.
5. No use of the no huddle offense, ever, other then late in the halves or down 14+ points. It's like he's afraid to think outside of the box. We haven't even tried this to see when it's obvious we perform better in it. ATL has used it as a base offense this year and it's done wonders, Eli does better in it, so does Romo, why do we realize that but the offensive guru doesn't?
6. Same stupid penalties every week, same stupid computer programmed response in regards to them and how to fix them.
I will have never gone into a season with more anger and pessimism then I will in 2013 if JG is back. Sadly, if Dez pinky was in bounds, and Seattle didn't get a cheap win vs GB, we would be in 1st in the division and have a huge leg up on the WC spot, even with all those things said. I just absolutely hate when the HC doesn't make simple adjustments and let's the team suffer for months and months before doing anything about it.
I'm not the smartest football mind, but JG is supposed to be. He shouldn't be making these types of decisions.

Did we really ignore Dez in the 1st half? I think when a player doesn't get a lot of targets, we sometimes say they were ignored as opposed to maybe he wasn't open and Tony didn't throw to him.

The same routes are there, trust me. If NFLNetwork replays the game just watch outside of the numbers. Aso lined off 10 yards 90% of the time, and immediately upon snapping the ball he went into a strong back pedal. DRC also but he didn't do it quite as much as Aso but they both did.
The 2nd TD Dez scored on that route, it was open all game. Plus, when is Dez really just not open? I do agree that Tony doesn't throw to him at times, but even Collinsworth mentioned it during the broadcast about how if he was playing QB, with as many 1 on 1 matchups as he was seeing with Dez, he'd give him 2-3 jump balls a game to give him an opportunity. He saw the same thing too. We try and complicate things too much sometimes.

Romo to Bryant, last 4 games
29 of 37 78.4% 475 yds 12.8 ypa 6 td 0 int 158.3
If we're gonna make a run, we need to get the ball to Dez as often as possible.

Geno Atkins vs Bernadeau is going to be a nightmare matchup, so is Dunlap vs Free.
Garrett is going to have to continue utilizing shorter routes to move the chains. Dez and Miles are at their best creating Breaking tackles on the move and creating YAC. Hopefully they get creative and move the pocket to slow down the pass rush.

Cincy gives up around 110 rushing yds/game. Could be an opportunity for us to slow down that pass rush by going heavy in the run game.

I just found out they are starting Terrance Newman still. Wow. The same Terrance Newman that had been getting burned here 2-3 years ago and has gotten slower and slower every year. I'm going to throw my TV out of a window if we don't attack him the entire game. We should be treating him the way OC's treated us when we had Alan Ball out there, no reason to try and get complicated IMO.

Not only that take advantage of Dunlap and Gene being overly aggressive and run counters and draws. Hold on I just checked that would be smart gameplanning. We'll have to wait till the second half.

TNew has quietly had a solid year. But I'd still attack him though.
