Oh and Jamie Foxx is going to be playing Electro in The Amazing Spiderman 2. Meh.
Quote:
There were rumors for at least a few weeks that Jaime Foxx was up for the role of the villain in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, and now it's been confirmed. The Django Unchained star will be playing Electro, a supervillain with control over electricity.
"Electro is a great character." Foxx said in an official statement. "I met with the director, Marc Webb, I met with [the star of the current Spider-Man films] Andrew Garfield, and we talked. I think Electro will be an exciting character to play because he's a genius electrician-type person, and he gets the short end of the stick from the whole world, and the next thing you know he turns it on."

He is the Spider-Man villain. That, or they need to do a serious Carnage movie. Of course, it would have to be one dark ******* movie.

They're probably worried they can't match the perfect performance that was Topher Grace

Oh I completely agree, but you realistically need to have a venom storyline before a carnage one. I doubt this series would do it justice anyway so might as well let them **** up one of his B list villains I suppose, just like the Lizard.

Venom isn't his biggest foe, hell he isn't even a villain.

Not so much now but he certainly was in the 90s and I would ******* know because I have boxes of Spiderman comics in storage, do not even try to argue with me on this one. Venom is maybe second place to the GG in terms of big Spidey foes.

The Spider-Man nerd in my wants a ******* Scarlet Spider movie, though that is far too obscure to occur.

Idk they are remaking the Heman movie and an Ant man movie. If this trend of comic book movies continues to find such a massive audience then maybe years down the road it could happen.

Yeah, but they'll probably get some terrible young actor to play him.

I dunno, I liked the new spiderman. Totally unnecessary film, but it was solid all around and Garfield did a good job as spidey.

I love when a movie is so terrible that it's hilarious. Like the movie I just watched: The Expendables 2.

I enjoyed Expendables 2 a lot. Had a much better sense of humor about itself than the first one, which was just painfully bad.

Though, it did just dawn on me that The Expendables 2, if all the killing were done by one person, would be the plot of the majority of FPS games. Hell, there are even boss levels in that movie.

Expendables one was so awful, I went in expecting bad and it was even worse. The CGI blood was some of the worst I have ever seen, and how is Dolph back in the second movie after betraying them and dying?

What's funny is that Bruce Willis is such a better actor than the rest of that cast that it only exacerbates how awful everyone in the film is.

Dolph didn't die, he was alive at the end and they all forgave him because he was high on heroin. Or something.

I thought Bruce Willis, Arnold, and Chuck Norris had probably the most forced lines in any movie this year. God that was annoying. I thought Liam Hemsworth was clearly the only decent guy in the cast.

Arnold was brutal and Willis wasn't so great, either, I'd agree. All of Norris in that movie was just ridiculous.
JCVD was the best, as he always has been.

I also thought CGI Arnold in Terminator 4 had a more realistic looking face than actual Arnold in the movie. That's pretty sad.
