I feel like they blew the whole budget on the first half of the movie and they had to film the second half exclusively on them farm. Seriously though I doubt you would find anyone out there who says they saw it heading in that direction or that they were glad it went that way. It had so much potential but it was hard to not be let down a little by the way it all unraveled.

I wasn't let down at all by it, actually.

It felt to me like they filmed this awesome final 40 minutes and then the studio stepped in and shut it down, telling them they invested too much money and needed everyone involved to dumb it down and give the audience a happy ending.

On here maybe but so many people I know were talking about how it was one of the best movies they had ever seen and were blown away from start to finish.

Really? Might want to check its IMDB rating, or its RT rating, or its Metacritic rating. But sure, because three people here say otherwise, I'm in the minority.

I'm not saying it was a bad movie. Sure, it'll get a good rating on Rotten Tomatoes because all in all it wasn't a bad movie, all I'm saying is that it was a let down.

Hence why I included the other two, which are more indicative of the movies rating than the percentage of people who just leaned on saying it was good.

Are you really using the critics say it's incredible so it just be argument? Really?

No, I'm using it to say that the "majority were disappointed" argument is a fallacy, which it is. Three douchebags and Todd Bertuzzi aren't enough to file for a majority.

My dad just finally re-set up his good home theater system. Any recommendations on what to test on it? I thought Inception and maybe Black Hawk Down would be good.

Pick any Pixar movie, or Blade Runner.

Just watched TDKR for the first time since I saw it in theaters. Really held up a lot better than I though it would. I didn't find the plot holes everyone was bitching about to be that detracting from the movie. In fact, I think I enjoyed it more the second time around.

I watched Scott Pilgrim on bluray yesterday. It wrinkled my brain.

It can't be underrated, it's the most awesome move of all time.

Speed Racer is another great one to test out a new set up, that movie's beautiful and perfectly cliche.

Audio for Speed Racer isn't the best for the blu ray, though.

Just saw The Collection. Not quite as good as The Collector, but it was still pretty fun. And it was actually a bite different in terms of style. The first one was obviously the horror/torture/thriller genre and I felt like this one went for more of an action vibe.

I don't think I've heard a single other person prefer The Collector over The Collection, so you get a ribbon.
