I agree, to an extent. Jack and Liz will always be funny, as will some of the tertiary characters. That said, most of the cast just devolve into caricatures of themselves right around Seasons 4 and 5, not unlike How I Met Your Mother. Plus, Jenna is actually unbearable in the newer seasons. Her relationship with Paul is beyond stupid at this point.
