So Kevin Love sure sounds bitter towards Kahn.... for good reason...
How long until this turns into a messy divorce?

He didn't really say anything we didn't already know, he was just more open about it. If the Wolves turn into a contender in the next couple years he'll stay, if we're still hovering around .500 he'll probably go.
Kahn is still a ******* idiot for not giving him 5 years. We're not in any position to take a risk like that.

Do you think Kahn would get fired first?

Maybe, but by the time that came it would probably be too late for Love to care.

The Wolves are without their best shooter, their best perimeter defender/creator/third best player, and their second best player in AK-47. Love needs to shut up, they'll be fine once they come back.

I kind of agree that he needs to shut up, but he's come out since and said that he didn't think that the tone of the article was going to be nearly that negative.

Wojnarowski just destroyed the T-Wolves in the article, completely blasted them.

Woj is a great writer, one of the best out there. But he is REALLY bad at hiding his personal bias/opinions.

Follow up KLove interview. Gonna be interesting to see where he signs in 2014.
Quote:
"I meant what I said, I told David there's nothing to apologize about," Love told reporters. "The only thing I was sorry about is that I did it in public and if there's a learning experience from that, it's not to do that again."
Love, however, said he would continue to speak his mind.
"A lot of athletes these days say the right thing and aren't outspoken. I happen to be in (the Yahoo! Sports) article. I'm not going to go forward and say I have anything to apologize about. I said what I felt. I didn't mean to alienate my team, my coaches, the organization or more importantly the fans ... I said a lot of things about the team and where we're at this point and I'll continue to say it throughout the year because that's how I feel," he told reporters.

Minnesota would look pretty awesome if healthy and bringing in a shooter like Afflalo. Ricky, AA, AK, Love and Pek could push around a lot of teams without the paint getting all clogged up.

You're right about his ugly bias. I wouldn't even call him a good writer. I would just say he has good contacts that enable him to report pretty accurate rumors. As a writer, he's horrible.

...this one said a lot...

"It will be embedded in my brain, and something I won't forget about. There's no telling what will happen. I would love to compete for a championship in Minnesota, but …" Yahoo! Sports

Rumors are that David Kahn was saving the 5-year extension for Jonny Flynn.

Wait, what? Is Orlando actually rumored to be trading Afflalo or are you guys just wanting him?

I think it's just a want thing grizzle, Rosebud was just naming a player that'd be a nice fit with that squad I think.

So, is Afflalo still ridiculously overrated here or have you all come to your senses?

No, he's still ridiculously overrated. Apparently Pekovic & DWill << Afflalo, which is ridiculous.
