The first half problem is gameplanning. Every week we trot out the tried and true Vertical Offense. It doesn't work because we don't have the offensive line to block effectively, and consistently, on long developing pass plays.
Second half we adjust and slants, curls, and ins&outs become the staples and it opens up the offense. Also notice the same thing about the 2 minute drill when teams can't effectively counter quick hits and rotating dlineman.

Claiborne is expected to be out due to concussion symptoms as per nfl rap sheet failed the battery of test needed to be cleared by NFL.
Will have a chance pregame to retest but will need to be cleared by team doctor and concussion specialist assigned to the game.

So I'm going to the game today guys. My whole family is from Pittsburgh and huge Steeler fans so my Dad was working on tickets way in advance for himself, and since it's my 29th bday tomorrow he was able to get me one. Haven't been to the stadium since the NBA All Star game a few years ago, and still haven't gone to a football game at Jerry World.
Really hoping it doesn't end up being a game I regretted going to, but I'm looking forward to it.

I just read that we have the least false starts for an nfl team this year. That has a nice ring to it.

I can tell we're going to be going against the referees this game. Obvious fumble overruled to an incomplete.

The offensive line is looking really good. If they keep it up I don't mind eating that crow.

Rob is calling some horrible coverages now. No need for guys to be starting out in the end zone when it's 3rd and 2.

This is easily the best win of the year. With a banged up defense they bent but didn't break while the offense was super efficient. Garrett even called a nice game. These guys are stepping up big time, and I'm thrilled.

Very good game all around especially from the mash squad on defense. Three way tie for the Divison!

WOW, cant believe we keep winning these games! The Garrett talk ends NOW! Also I read that Romo is the first QB to throw for 300+ yards against the Steelers in 2 years.. What a GREAT game!!

Jerry Jones: Dez Bryant is going to have to have a bone graft from his hip to repair his broken hand. Wow.

I've done my fair share of critisizing Garrett, but he had the team ready to play and called a good game. No obvious questions about why he's not doing something in the first half. The team came out ready to go, and they stepped up major in crunch time. He deserves a lot of credit for that, and I'm glad he's proving us doubters wrong. Hopefully he makes me eat more crow because I'm enjoying that meal. lol

JG basically called the game that we have been asking for.... Shorter quick developing routes and a lot of open formations with underneath options. Murray and the O-line did a great job of creating balance. Miles ate up corners until they started to roll some zone to help his man. Dez manned up and did a pretty decent game all things considered. I've been looking for a break out game from Hannah and showed value when matched up against LB's.
The defense was so impressive especially Spencer. I don't think we have any choice but franchising him for a second year. Everyone played with heart.. Ware is playing with one arm, Carr has a sore Achilles, and Half of the players rotated in are street free agents.

Honestly...Ware sucked ass.....I know he was injured but I was just waiting for him to call to the sideline to call it a game.
The defense played well when it mattered most though!
Great game by JG...offense, defense, ST, all had their turns.
 2 more games!

Sucked ass? That's harsh. Dude doesn't get a sack and all of a sudden he sucks even though he didn't practice all week cause he was actually hurt. Dang, I didn't noticing PIT running at him at will or anything...and he still put pressure on Big Ben. Spencer doesn't have the game he had without Ware. Period.

People get far too hung up on box scores. Ware was consistently doubled or chipped. He was also held A TON. When he was called for roughing the LT had a hold of his collar pulling him sideways.
Of course Pitt managed to finish the game 0/0 penalties.

It's amazing what we've been doing lately, considering that both our ILBs are out, along with 2 of our 3 top CBS, 2 out of 3 starters on the DL, and even our backup NT.
