Agreed, but we just don't seem to be that kind of team. It seems like aside from maybe the Chargers game or the 2nd half of the Chiefs game, we aren't really ever clicking on all cylinders. Oh well, we'll see.

Well we are Division Champs and have locked up a playoff spot. We have a 3 game lead with 4 to play for the #1 seed in the playoffs.
IMO we need to rest any starters that have any injuries at all. Samuel needs to get healthy, If Julio is hurting a all just sit him, same with Spoon.
No sense in going into the playoffs knicked up.
We Should be able to go 2-2 in the last 4 games worst case scenario.

This is by far the worst played, coached, prepared game Ive seen in a long time on a weekend where you could clinch homefield, against a horrible Panthers team. How pathetic.

When we go 1 and done in the playoffs this year we better fire Smith and actually play a defensive scheme that likes to get pressure. So ******* tired of this pathetic zone ****. It doesnt work.

Carolina put up a blueprint of how to beat us.
*Score first
*Control the clock
*Keep the ball out of Matt Ryans hands.

Pretty sure this is a blueprint for every NFL team.
We just played like ourselves today, only difference was there were no lucky turnovers. Weve played this way all year.

It's alright guys. Maybe a loss is a good thing for us. We just need to worry about our gameplan for the playoffs.

You're kidding yourself if you think we're going to fire Mike Smith. You must not remember the pre-2008 Atlanta Falcons. Look, I'm upset about the loss too, but the fact of the matter is it's only our 2nd of the year and it's incredibly hard to win week after week in the NFL. I feel like our fans are becoming a little spoiled.

Don't get me wrong, I want to see a straight up blowout at some point too. We still have a shot with the Bucs and Lions games this year.

IDC about blowouts. I just want to see a solid performance on both sides of the ball. We have had 13 games this year and It seems we dont address any of our glaring issues week to week is what I have a problem with.
And the way we came out today is all on coaching. We have been off since Thursday so there is no excuse, and we played the worst we have all year against a terrible team. Itd be one thing If we played the Ravens or Patriots and looked like **** but this was the terrible Panthers.
Yes we only have 2 losses, but if you like me have seen all the games this year I think you would realize we are no where near as good as our record indicates.

Good game guys. That was a good old fashioned butt whooping. I love what Nolan has done with this defense.

That's the way this team should play. We finally played up to our potential.

never said blow up the roster aside from adding a playmaker on the defensive line and being more aggressive.
We beat a good Giants team but we still have to win a postseason game. Smith isnt off the hook yet, last I checked no1 cares about his record in the regular season. 0-3 in the playoffs is all people remember.

Smith has turned this team around. He's in no danger of losing his job anytime soon.

I can't believe how well we played on 3rd and 4th down. That's something this defense really needs to be successful.

Big game tonight fellas. Win this and we lock up home field and would play inside the rest of the year. If there is a year to do it this would need to be the one.
Win today and take 2 weeks off to get rested and healthy

Not a fan of resting players. Perhaps if you have clinched a playoff spot and can't get a bye, but with a bye that is too much rest.
Go out and play next week, IMO. We've plenty to work on.

I agree, go out and play next week. If we take two full weeks off we'll be rusty by out playoff game.

As far as resting people Im only talking about those with some nagging injuries. Like Roddy not being 100%, maybe Asante if his shoulder is still not 100%. Stuff like that.
As far as the game goes I dont want to see the key starters in longer than 2 quarters. There is nothing more a hopeless TB team with nothing to lose would love more than to hurt Matt and ruin our playoff chances.

Sounds like our backups will be taking a ton of reps. Hopefully our starters can at least make it through a half.

Falcons are really clicking right now. Let's keep this momentum going to the play-offs. I say play everyone, but definitely limit them to some degree.
