Hoffman will get a nom for The Master. Bardem deserves one. Idon't like SJax gets one though he was incredibly and Leo might not because there were so many great sporting performances this year.

Is Waltz really a supporting actor? He is in almost the entire movie and possibly has more face time than Foxx.

He will be considered supporting for sure. If I had to guess the winner if the award right more I would guess him. So damn good.

Finally got around to watching Dark Knight Rises and Looper (I had a girlfriend that worked for AMC until June...haven't been to the theater since - not as appealing when it isn't free).
DKR was alright. I've never liked Batman (or Superman or pretty much most DC heroes), but the first two movies were great. This one was just the first one all over again. Kind of lame.
Looper was interesting. I thought it was pretty entertaining and it was an overall good movie.

Django was very good. Not great, but very enjoyable.

I found Django to be bonerific. Just watched Looper and thought it was good. Wasn't blown away or anything.

I went to see The Hobbit fully expecting to be underwhelmed. My expectations were met.

DeNiro deserves consideration as a supporting actor in SLP.

I was bored for the final 60-90 minutes. First half of the movie was good.

You also refuse to see Looper, so you are of no solid opinion.

I hated The Hobbit, despite loving the LOTR trilogy. There's just too many problems with The Hobbit.

I haven't seen The Hobbit yet, but I'm guessing I'll be kind of pissed (going into it pissed). It was the shortest book... They struggled to squeeze 77 minutes out of the ******* book for the cartoon movie 35 years ago and now they're turning it into 3 3 hours movies? GTFO. ******* ********. People walking for 12 hours. Yay.

Too long, too much non-interesting content added that wasn't in the original text, Radagast, took way too long to get to Smeagol, all the dwarves were basically the same, Bilbo too often relegated to the background, harder to relate to characters than in LOTR, less interesting (or existent) themes, unnoticeable musical score, over-reliance on CGR, redundancy (travel, talk, attack, repeat), etc.

Les Miserables was whatever, but Anne Hathaway and Samantha Barks are both fantastic in it, in addition to being total babes. Wish they had more screentime.

Saw Skyfall and Flight yesterday, Skyfall was awesome, Flight was 'meh' to me. Good beginning, middle got kind of redundant, end was predictable.
Up for today is This Is 40 and The Hobbit. Boy do I love award consideration time.
