How do you correct a limp arm? You can't! And that's the problem. This is who Dalton will be, you can't fix his limitations. And come playoff time, these flaws will only be highlighted.
I would give Dalton another year, but I strongly feel that if youre ultimate goal is the SB, which it should be, then this guy isn't the answer. He's fools gold.

It might not be his arm so much as his recognition and anticipation. He just completed his second year. He still doesn't have that much experience under his belt.

Also it does not help that the Bengals don't have much outside of Green. Gresham is a complete vagina and can't catch the ball and Sanu and Jones are both rookies who are better suited as #3 and #4 WRs and Andrew Hawkins is pretty much useless any where outside of 10 yards. So the only true deep threat is Green. They should consider looking at a WR early on.

I wish Harvin was healthy during this game. That'd be a fun offense to watch.

So he gets them to the play-offs his first two years in the leauge, but if he doesn't get them to the SB by year three you are ready to do what exactly?

I would put DE as a higher priority. You guys need some edge pressure. And a coverage LB.
And a RB with some speed. I think your WRs will develop. Gresham is a vag though, very disappointing. I was a big fan of his in Oklahoma.

Green Bay should trade Finley to the Bengals for Gresham straight up. It is a equal trade.

I want to see growth from him as a quarterback. The team can go 8-8 but if he shows growth in his anticipation, accuracy, and ability to drive the football down the field, then he deserves a chance.
If he's still throwing lollipops all over the field, then you're just wasting prime years of AJ Green with him under center.

I'd take that trade. Have fun with his $8 million contract!

Joe Webb is a mixture of Peyton Manning and RG3, apparently

You know what would really help Andy Dalton? Anquan Boldin working the middle of the field out of the slot. That'd mask a lot of problems.

Meh. That's like saying Tennessee should have given up on Steve McNair this first two seasons...or Dallas should have given up on Troy Aikman after his first two years. Dalton played better this year than in his first. He hasn't won a playoff game in his first couple of seasons, but it took Manning what, six years after three one and done playoff games to win his first contest. And Matt Ryan still hasn't won a game after three tries. I don't think it's time to jump on the gun on Dalton. He needs more time. A lot of people were surprised the Bengals even made the playoffs again. They did so under his guidance.

I was just referring to your "3 year plan" on QB's.
Hell, even Aikman took 4 years to get the Cowboys to the SB.

What makes you say that? I think he's even been considered for a scouting job at one point by a professional team. I think it might have been Oakland a few years ago.

This implies someone ever liked Faith Hill. I disagree.
