Yet Florida beat LSU, and Georgia beat Florida, and Texas A&M beat Alabama. It's all about Alabama/LSU, yet there's 4 other SEC schools in the current BCS top 10.

Tennessee actually can claim the first BCS title. Besides that fun read.

The only reason that people still root for the SEC to win is because everyone else goes so far out of their way to downplay the conference's dominance, that it's actually getting pathetic. My favorite team isn't even an SEC school, but it's so easy to tell that much more competitive football is played in the SEC that the only reason I think other people get bent out of shape is because of their own "conference pride" and wanting to believe their team is a legitimate threat to win a championship.

UF beat them as well. But nobody beat Bama, like TAM.
Plus Heisman winners should play in NCG.

Lol Baylor would have gotten crushed last year by us and we couldn't cross the 50 against Bama.

I didn't make this account originally, a friend did(big LSU fan), but the Mods wouldn't let me have a name change when I asked, though people on this site change their names all the time.

The only thing I hate about the SEC is the fact that their bottom feeders think they're good and take pride in the accomplishments of their rivals.
I usually root for Big Ten teams, except Michigan and Penn State, but you'll never see me pound my chest about the conference being strong if my team sucks ala Tennessee fans.

The bowl games tend to show that Tennessee is right, though...

What does it matter if your conference is good if you lose all your games. Tennessee has won two bowl games in the last decade. Hasn't even made a bowl game since 2010.
My point wasn't that the SEC wasn't dominant, cause they are and I've never said otherwise. Just that the bottom feeders take way too much pride in the accomplishments of their rivals. My Tennessee fan friends are some of the biggest SEC fans I know, and for what reason? Just so they don't have to feel so bad about getting killed?

Same here, ND is pretty deep, especially the front seven.

Pretty deep but still not as deep as Bama. At some point having to go against that offensive line and Lacy & Yeldon will wear you out.

It's really been funny watching ESPNU's coverage all day. It's been 90 percent ND coverage. ESPN is trying REAL hard to sell the idea that this ND really has a legitimate chance.

35-10 Bama
I expect it to be over before halftime with a 28-3 lead going into half.
