I'd agree with this. I think it is close for 2 1/2 or 3 quarters before the depth of Alabama starts wearing ND.

If only they could both lose tonight.

That sounds about right. I'd like to see ND makes this a game, and I don't think Bama is the indestructable force most people do (sorry, but if Clemson can beat LSU, Bama is beatable).
But I don't think Notre Dame is the team to do that. They don't have the horses just yet. I'll go 27-13, Bama.

SEC fans just make my skin crawl. Why do I have Tennessee fans with Roll Tide as their status? You're team sucks but get at least you can take pride in your conference rivals accomplishments.
I'm all for conference pride, but if your team isn't a part of it should you really act like that? Just bandwagonish to me, but whatever weird logic they use down here.

Ugh I hate rooting for Notre Dame. But 3 championships for Alabama in 4 years?
Lose/Lose
I'm in agreement with Brent, if only they could both lose.

When I was younger, my dad would be watching football, and I would ask him who we were rooting for. He'd tell me, and I'd ask why. Typically, he'd be rooting for them because Tennessee had played them, and should that team win, then it'd make UT look better. So I believe it's that sentiment taken to the extreme when bowl season comes around. The SEC teams doing well makes the rest of the SEC look better, so that's why you see rival fans rooting for each other. Especially the weaker teams who really have nothing to hang their hat on besides being in a dominant conference.
Although, I highly question any UT fan saying "Roll Tide" to be Tennessee fans. If they are, then they're obviously pretty removed from the rivalry. Nothing would please me more than to see ND whoop Bama and end the SEC champion streak end.

I'll go bold: 13-10 Notre Dame. If Golson can play to 50% of Johnny Football's skill tonight, that defense can carry the team through these 60 minutes.
If it becomes a shootout/rushing contest, Alabama will most likely win it.

We all saw Tennessee play.
SEC strength makes teams with 1-3 conference losses look great. It does nothing for Tennessee's image. Being a bottom feeder in the best conference really isn't any better than being one in the worst conference is it?

More then any team in the sec I hate is Alabama . Never have a first or second round QB ever. But they get it done with other positions.

Fans make of it what they want, as do other fans of college football. *shrug*
Personally, I would rather lose in the best conference than lose in the worst conference. I think that's a stand most people would take.

Well that was quick. Notre Dame's response is going to be crucial, the way they got carved up by the running game doesn't bode well.
