I have received a threat from D-Unit. As of now, his position as Dallas Cowboys GM has been revoked. I will attempt to find a replacement GM, but if not, I will make Dallas' final two picks.

It's a long story, but at this point it appears unresolvable. I originally rejected a trade involving Miles Austin, which D-Unit ignored by PMing Scott for trade approval. It's basically escalated from there, but D-Unit eventually PMed me with the quote: "please enjoy finishing up the last forum mock you're going to run." At that point, I revoked his position as Dallas GM.

Sorry, but I'm not going to rescind a trade after it's been approved. If I were going to do something like that, I would have called back the Miles Austin trade you forced through, which you know I wouldn't have approved.

ok, didn't see the harm this would be. as you can tell not a single person complained about the miles trade, so I think you can get over your personal bias.

I'm not concerned with what two or three people who commented on the deal thought, because I know Austin wouldn't garner much value in real life with his bloated contract. The fact of the matter is that you've attempted to enforce your own rules wherever possible, showing complete disrespect for my ability to make final decisions on the draft. I've put in a ton of work on this and all you've attempted to do is further your own interests with a complete disregard for any sort of procedure. I'm sorry, but you're just going to have to deal with the fact that as the organizer and commissioner of this draft, I'm going to have the final word. I didn't reject the trade out of some sort of personal dislike for Miles Austin, I rejected it because I didn't think it was a fair deal for both sides. Please don't make me keep reminding you of these things; the draft has been relatively hassle-free overall and I'd like to keep it that way.

I give you credit. It has been relatively hassle-free draft and that includes the Austin trade, so you shouldn't be angry about that. Even if you think he's not worth his contract, fact of the matter is that it's highly likely that his contract will be restructured this year. Something you aren't giving any thought to. He has absolutely no leverage with his contract because it's entirely ungauranteed. He could restructure or simply face getting cut. Which makes him a very low risk acquisition for another team. In the trade he was involved in, he got a late 4th/early 5th round value. Surely nothing to be up in arms about. I'm sorry if you felt I overstepped your power. That wasn't my intent. Looking at the past, that was not the first time the community ever made a decision on a trade approval in a forum mock when a commish wasn't around and the team to pick was OTC. Maybe the self-empowerment feeling you got by volunteering to run this mock got to your head a little bit.... I'm not sure. But it kind of sounds like that when you say stuff like "I'm going to have the final word". Had there been community disagreement to the trade, it obviously wouldn't have gone through. No sense in arguing about the trade anymore, and there's no sense in you harboring ill feelings towards it. I think you've overexaggerated things by saying I bullied my way at every opportunity. I mentioned "once" that someone could pick after the clock ran out on the person before him. Just once and it wasn't against any of "your" rules or me trying to implement new rules. If a post like that is upsetting, then maybe you shouldn't run these. That said, it's been a fine draft and you've done a good job with it. No crazy trades and the pace has been fine.

I'm mostly uspet because you basically used my taking a nap after hours of being available for trade approvals, etc. as an opportunity to force through an unfair trade with absolutely no regard paid to my previous decision re. Austin. I'm running this because I thought it would be a fun event for the users of the site; all I asked in return was that people respect my ability to make final decisions in order to ensure realism. You knew how I felt about Austin, and used my brief absence as an opportunity to operate outside of the rules outlined. Sure, Austin could restructure his contract, but a number two receiver who can't stay healthy isn't going to fetch much on the market with a four-year, $30 million deal. If he were to accept a pay cut, I assume it would be with Dallas.

I can see how you assume things happened that way, but I surely didn't just take advantage of your nap to do it. You know how things go. Trade talks start suddenly. People post they want to trade up and down and the PMs start coming through. The timing of your nap had nothing to do with the discussion I had with the Bills. BTW, he just missed shy of a 1000 yard season and he had 6 TDs. Let's not talk about him as if he was hurt all season. He only missed 1 game and he doesn't have ANY injury that is threatening to his career.

You gotta get over this. It sure sounds like a personal bias to me.

I can see why you'd begin negotiating with Buffalo (because the trade was completely one-sided in your favor) but you clearly operated outside of the rules in order to get the trade passed knowing full well what I figured Austin's value was worth. I'm willing to let that one slide, but if you continue to ignore the rules I'm going to be inclined to take action against it. Please finish out the draft without incident.

Sorry, but volunteering to run these does not give you that kind of power. No need to worry about me ignoring these rules, but please enjoy finishing up the last forum mock you're going to run.

Lol, I called someone an idiot. Hardly the most brutal attack ever made on here. I've seen worse go untouched.
