If Reed retires or signs with someone else then a FS would be a good pick. In that scenario I would prefer Reid over Vaccaro. I don't see him as the top center fielding free safety at all (that would be Amerson) and a tandem of him and pollard would leave a lot to be desired. Reid isn't a particularly good fit for the role either in my opinion but I would rather they go with him if you were st on giving Baltimore a safety.
If Reed does re-sign with the team then I don't see them using a high pick on a safety. He would probably be around for another couple of seasons and backups at that position don't have a lot of value. Montgomery would be my pick then although I'm not a big fan of his (not a great board for Baltimore).
In the second round Hodges isn't a bad pick but with Arthur Brown still on the board I would much prefer they go with him.
