That should have nothing to do with anything. Roethlisberger played at Miami of Ohio. Won a Super Bowl in his second season. The pressure didn't seem to effect him too much. Kurt Warner went to Iowa State and won a Super Bowl in his first season as an NFL starter. I'm not saying this will be a similar road for Colin Kaepernick, but to judge his psyche heading into an NFL game based on his college pedigree is a little dumb in my opinion. Peyton Manning went to Tennessee and was 0-3 to start his playoff career and didn't even win a playoff game until his sixth season. The college you went to shouldn't have anything to do with it. That's all I'm saying and that's the reason I brought it up. If Kaepernick has a bad game I doubt part of the reasoning will be because he attended Nevada.

Im not saying the Nevada thing is a big deal, obviously it isn't. It's just one of many factors that help paint the picture of Kaepernicks career. And Im not saying he is going to choke or anything, but just that he isn't mentally developed enough yet to outduel Rodgers.

If the 49ers D and run game looked drastically better than the Pack, Id say hes got a shot, but the Packs D is lookin really tough right now and Dajuan Harris is running hard. They remind me of the Packers 2 years ago with Starks coming out of nowhere and being really effective in the playoffs, and the defense shutting everyone down. Throwing on Woodson, Williams, Shield, Hayward, and Burnett is gonna be hard.
