Looking back at that 2000 nfl draft that was one hell of a first round for OLB.

Partially because the main thing that is holding Kiko Back is really how ******* dumb the kid is. Like trying to have a conversation with him...well lets just say your better off trying to talk to the reporter on the TV. He seriously has the IQ of a potato....haha. And there's just no rehab for being that stupid.

Why he hasn't gotten noticed is a whole nother story, as he's incredibly good in everything that he does, but he doesn't really stand out in any one area.

He's reminding me too much of Aaron Maybin. Dion doesn't seem strong enough to set the edge against OTs in the NFL. Based on size, Jordan is strictly a 43 OLB.

I think people are missing how small 6'6, 235-250# is for a DE/OLB. He's athletic and fluid, but physically IMO he profiles more like a WR and not a LBer. I can't believe he played much of last season under 230#!! Yikes.

If he doesn't come in and beast at the combine, I can't see Jordan being selected where people are projecting him to go.

I see a 2nd round prospect at best.

If Dion Jordan runs a low 4.5 at the combine, do you think any teams would ever consider switching him to corner??

This is my NFL wet dream at the moment.

I'm also not entirely sure he knows how to tackle.

I love how everyone who doesn't like this guy because of his lack of weight in comparison to his height and they instantly go the Aaron Maybin comparison, yet fail to leave out one of the greatest pass rushers of the last 20 years in Jason Taylor.

I have followed Taylor for years and years and he has always struggled to keep his weight on. Even though he was only 244 at 6'6 he managed to defend the run very well and put up 139.5 sacks in his 15 year career. I also read an artical on him some years back that he would start out the season in the 245-250 range ever year and ended up the season playing in the 230-235 range every year.

I've said this time and time again. If you draft him to be a DE and a 14 sack guy you're going to be disappointed.

If you draft him as a SLB that can play lights out coverage and give you 4-6 sacks a season plus some FF and ints. You'll be very happy and I look at him in that light. And if he can do that to me he's a top'15 pick.

As we'll find out in interviews after today's games, especially if the Ravens win.

One more thing... I hate that he's trying to get up to 250. At 235 playing LB he could be the first of his kind. And in today's NFL a guy that can run 4.6 at 6 foot 7 can cover a lot of ground is a big deal. Think about him dropping in a zone. Could a QB drop in over the LB under the safety if this dudes the LB?

It's funny because he can't talk for ****, but what he's actually saying behind those...words...is a high understanding of the game. He's like an Andy Katzenmoyer without the roids.

Not that Brandon Spikes is a complete dolt, but Alonso is similar in that he's a meat head that just has amazing instincts.

This game was refreshing to go back and watch. It was the game that made me a huge fan of his last June. We get to see him with his hand in the ground pass rushing a lot more than we did in any game this year.

Checking up and comparing him with Mingo when I realized even after playing half the season with a torn labrum, Jordan still had a better year then Mingo. More tackles, more TFL and sacks. If not for the injury, Jordan would have had a very nice season. Pair that with his experience playing in coverage and it becomes a lot less close between the two.
