Maybe we should sign the walrus to the o-line. He's a big boy. Probably a mauler.

We're looking at $19.5 million in cap space, so we can sign him and the viking walrus as well!

Other blockers could be:

OC Todd McClure, Atlanta Falcons
OC Brad Meester, Jacksonville Jaguars

OG Antoine Caldwell, Houston Texans
OG Andy Levitre, Buffalo Bills
OG Kevin Boothe, NY Giants

OT Branden Albert, KC Chiefs
OT Jermon Bushrod, NO Saints

FB Greg Jones, Jacksonville Jaguars
FB Jerome Felton, Minnesota Vikings

Two aging but vet C's who could help Jake with their experience. I am 100% with Drew on Antoine Caldwell. Has started at G on an amazing run-blocking OL for the past two seasons, and also played C when he was at Alabama. Albert and Bushrod both have experience at OG, whether in the NFL or in college, so they both could be projected to LG (the only thing is OT's make better money, so we'd lose out to teams wanting them at OT).

He was a senior? Crap, I think he'd make a good WCO FB because of his catching ability!

So we fired our coaches for the well-performing units of linebackers and special teams. And guess what? We promoted the special teams assistant to be the new linebackers coach. God, I love this team and its administration.

PFF had Derrick Morgan at 3rd in the league in pressures on primary passing (3rd and 4th) downs and 5th in pressure %. Dude definitely came on as the year went on. His motor is insane as well. Hopefully this carries over into next year and he starts converting these into sacks.

Gotta love it. I don't question some of our moves, but LBer and STs were some of our better units.

Hopefully, this puts all our coaches on the same page and we get strong play throughout all facets of the game.

Well, thats the plan anyways

They're being very open lately about wanting to fix the offensive line issues. Maybe they'll at least get that corrected before they're all canned.

Haha, love that.

I still doubt they go OL in the 1st RD, though. I'm not even sure Warmack is worth the 10th overall pick, let alone think the staff will be willing to use that early of a pick on an OG. If they do, at least we'll get a perennial pro bowler just based on draft position and name recognition, which will be neat.

Either way, they're only improving the OL because the pass-protection was so bad over the second half of the year. I don't think they've had a sudden revelation and realized the lack of talent and skill at the spots. They just saw Locker scrambling around for his life, and figure they have to act since Amano is due a massive contract year(s), Harris is a FA, and Hutchinson may decide to retire. Still...it hits me right in the gut to know we took a WR last year and may take a OG this year, when we could have taken DeCastro last year and then taken Cordarrelle Patterson this year.

I hope they go playmaking DL in the 1st, Safety in the 2nd, and then go OL back to back in the 3rd and 4th. Kyle Long and Brian Winters are the two guys I have my eye on. Wildcard would be if either Barrett Jones or Travis Frederick are available for our 2nd RD pick.

DeCastro last year and Patterson this year would've been amazing, my god why couldn't that have happened. I liked Wright coming out, but he didn't show anything special this year which is a bit disappointing. He at least looks to be a solid player, but whatever. Maybe he'll play differently if we start mixing his routes up more into intermediate and deep territory.

I do like Warmack better than DeCastro by a little bit though, just think he's more powerful and uses his functional strength better and doesn't get moved as much, but the difference in pick #10 and pick #20 is pretty significant. For what it's worth, I don't think we'll address OL in the 1st either.

Hope we nab a backup RB at some point as well to groom. We've whiffed quite a bit on mid round backs lately though. Ringer couldn't stay healthy...Harper looks awful, not to mention the slew of others before them.

I see too much value at other positions to take Warmack at #10, unless all the other top players that would help us are gone.

Ideally, to me anyways, we could trade down to around #15 and still grab a guy that's going to impact us while picking up a 2nd or 3rd in the process.

I think the interior line is relatively deep this year, at Center you've got 3 guys I think could start from Day 1 in Barrett Jones, Travis Frederick and Khaled Holmes. Jones will likely be available in Round 2, Frederick in round 3 and Holmes in 3-4. Guard is relatively deep past round 1, likely down to round 4. That's not including the fact that half of the OT prospects could easily kick into Guard.

Looking over the players likely to be available at #10, I just want a playmaker. We have a relatively solid core of support players but are still lacking that difference maker.

On offense, I've got to wonder if a guy like Patterson is still worth grabbing at #10. I know we've invested alot in WR as of late, but it's turning into more and more of a passing league. Kenny's future is questionable despite his immense talent and Patterson looks like a Julio Jones clone at times. On the other hand, I think DeAndre Hopkins, Terrence Williams, Justin Hunter or De'Rick Rogers in the 2nd could all fit that mold too.

On defense, DE, DT, S or CB could all help us if an elite talent. I look at CB and Milliner is a very good player, he can play man and zone so I think he'd be a good choice. Taking him would allow McCourty and Milliner to play outside, Verner to kick into Nickel Back with Campbell/Sensabaugh competing in the dime or maybe as a backup safety.

From the limited tape I've watched so far, I come away impressed with Jonathan Banks at times, and right now he's rated as #33 overall, so dropping to #42 wouldn't seem too unrealistic. I also like the ballhawking ability of David Amerson, but he's got to have a good pass rush. He also has the possibility of playing FS and maybe even SS. Lastly, I look at Tharold Simon, he's long and lean. Needs some work and a little stiff in the hips, which is why he's rated as a late 3rd early 4th, but he's got great size at 6'2" 193 and is physical. He too may have the option of moving to S.

For the past few years I've wanted a DE in the 1st, and to an extent I still do. If somehow Werner drops I'd take him in a heartbeat, same with Moore. After that, I see more value in rounds 2, 3 and 4. I still need to watch more video on Mingo to get a better opinion.

As for DT, I haven't watched any film on this group yet. Just by what little games I've seen, I think there will be value in the 2nd-3rd rounds to add depth to Casey and Martin (who will hopefully have a bigger impact and more PT next season).

Personally theres not a safety I love in the first round, if we moved back i'd be fine with Elam but not at the current selection

Agree with you guys that we can address OL somewhere in rounds 2-4. Munch has already expressed a distaste for picking interior OL in round 1 and followed through with that last year by passing on DeCastro.

On another note, is there a titans board that you guys recommend? I've checked out a couple (used to be a Titans Central poster back in the day), but the ones I've seen either seem to lack activity or are just full of total morons. Any suggestions?

While I never believed DeCastro was the elite talent people put him up to, I was still shocked to see us go with Wright.

We've done that several times, and I've always noticed it's a guy we've publicly been interested in, usually brought them in for visits and such.

I think my current big board for the Titans first pick is:

1) Bjoern Werner
2) Star Lotulelei
3) Cordarrelle Patterson
4) Chance Warmack
5) Sheldon Richardson
6) Matt Elam

I think Werner, Moore and Star are my top 3. After that I need to reconsider the whole thing.

We've invested so much in WR, although I love Patterson I am not sure I want to invest a 1st in him.

Bongo is not around. Although he did pop in once a couple months ago for a brief stay.

I could get on board with any of those. Interested to see how Elam runs...looks alot like Bob Sanders 2.0 to me, and I loved Sanders despite being a Colt. I really like Elam's game, he's always just completely jumped out to me, I'm just not sure where the scouting community actually has him graded.

I'm in the same boat. And I've heard everything from mid-first to mid-second round. I think he's the best safety in this class and when it's all said and done will end up going no later than the late first round.

I'm sure he's been busy being a Louisiana doctor who somehow has access to all the the team medical exams (I'm pretty sure his story was something like that).

Bobo you were on TC also right? Pretty sure I remember you, but its been a really long time for me. I pretty much stopped going over there once JTB started changing formats.

On Elam I too have seem late first to early 2nd. Ideally, there's a run on QBs and most teams want FS and not SS, so hopefully safeties like Vacarro, Reid, and maybe even Thomas go before Elam allowing us to get him in the 2nd.

Hopefully teams will downgrade him due to his size also. All i know is I want him round 2
