Well he blows in the context of people saying he should get picked in the 2nd or 3rd round.

Ok just quickly, who cares if he still beat Florida? It was the TEAM, he did everything he could to lose that game. 6-13 for 65 yards? Please.
Played well vs Oklahoma??? You call 13-19 for 85 yards, 0 TDs and 2 picks playing well?????? I have nothing more to say to you.
|
So he perenially blew every big game but all you got is 2 games vs. Oklahoma and Florida(which we still won).
But you just ignore everything else because he debunks what you said in your original post....yeah i would use the "so much bs" line too if i were you too and back very slowly out of the thread...

I think Matt Scott would be a smart guy to try and develop in his offense.

Dixon is a no brainer to bring in for the offseason and maybe a back up role, especially if they deal either of the other 2 guys. Dixon knows the offense and will be a helpful piece in implementing it in the workouts and training camp. Dixon probably won't ever directly impact a game but it doesn't hurt to have him around.

I could see Dixon starting for the Eagles under Chip Kelly, no problem.
He had no shot period in Pittsburgh backing up Big Ben. Or in Baltimore.
I wouldn't be surprised if he goes into Eagles TC as #2 on the depth chart behind Vick.

people say this... why? Chip Kelly invented an awesome tweak on offense that several playoff teams imitate, including SF in the Super Bowl. Why would he go to the NFL and become Air Coryell? How is that even possible?
Chip is gonna make the QB disposable in Philly. Vick, Dixon whoever, They will run alot and be treated like running backs. One gets hurt the next one goes in the game.
This idea that Chip Kelly is gonna run some sort of WCO or whatever is based on a fantasy. All the evidence from this man's career says he's gonna run read-spread.

Chip Kelly isn't going to coach the Eagles like his QBs are disposable if he wants to keep his job.
Whatever system he ran at Oregon is going to be significantly modified for the NFL.

If he doesn't invest huge money at QB he won't lose his job if/when they get injured. Vick's contract is mostly incentives. Dixon is dirt cheap. these guys are gonna be like running backs, contractually speaking. You'll never see a 15 mil/year Qb under Chip Kelly, that's my fearless prediction.
as for the system being "significantly" changed from Oregon, think about that for a second. the Eagles hired this guy for his system. There's gonna be tweaks but it's not gonna be drastically different.

Just because he runs the QB doesn't mean they are disposable.
He moves the QB more than he runs, and when they do run it is their choice most of the time, not a called play

Do people still think he's in love with Foles? I've seen or read nothing to suggest that is the case.

Doesn't look like they are going to trade Foles unless they get a great offer. So that should rule out drafting a QB.

You're buying the posturing from the Eagles?
