I'm not usually a fan of that heavy heavy rock, but these guys are incredibly talented and among the best at their style of music. They are so damn melodic that I sometimes associate it with completely different genres of music. I really hope they are all able to get better after their car accident soon, but I'm most glad that they are all still around.
I finally listened to some Frank Ocean last night after seeing him pop up so much on here, and I gotta say, I liked what I heard. My friend has Channel Orange and asked me what I thought of a few songs and I must say I liked it a lot. I listened to Pilot Jones through Pink Matter on the album and liked most of it. Lots of cool rhythm, and he's great at setting the atmosphere. I'll be looking into him some more.

Yeah, I don't usually go crazy for the festival lineups (last year's Coachella being an exception), but this one doesn't really stand out to me. Obviously it has some of my favorites and stuff like the Femmes, Descendents, and Postal Service would be cool, but I don't see myself attempting to go.
I apologize if this has been posted before, but I found this to be one of the more entertaining music videos that I've seen. I dig the song too.
Listening to An Awesome Wave the whole way through is great, the placement of the songs is just perfect in that album, Breezeblocks is great by itself, as are most of the songs, but listening to the whole album the whole way through is like listening to My Head is an Animal, Babel, or The Head and the Heart's albums for me. It's looking like Alt J is making the music festival rounds this year and that is going to be incredible. Check out their live show for KEXP if you get a chance.

Just got Passion Pit/Matt & Kim tickets for when they play at the Garden. Anyone ever see Passion Pit live?
I was supposed to see them at Firefly last year, but they cancelled and I didn't get to. I've heard mixed reviews about their live show, though. If its in MSG though, I'm sure they'll be kicking ass. I really hope they play Roo this year too, I would like to see them after I was "deprived" of it last year.

I'll probably try to go to Bonnaroo this year as well.
That is a solid festival at a reasonable price, lots of great names on there that I'd like to see. It'd definitely be worth it for me too, but with all the things I'm saving up for right now (Roo, new bass, more) I've had to tell myself I can only do one festival this year. So I hope I see you down at Roo then, lol. Enjoy that show, looks like it'll be sick!

Meh, not my thing, really. Though most of my meh-ness is from the smaller acts lacking, IMO.
