BTW Sgarbossa had a good first game. Hopefully Sacco replaces Mitchell with him on one of the scoring lines.
I'd love to see us go with
McGinn-Duchene-PAP
Sgar-Stastny-Jones
Highlander-Mitchell-Duke
Bordy-Olver-Kobasew
for the next game.

Crazy that Brodin is already playing 20+ min a night.. he's moved up to play with Suter as well. Consistent time on the top PK/PP for a 19 year old is just absurd. He's been well above my initial expectations (which were high already)
Mike Yeo/Suter both have commented how good he looks. Hope he can keep it up. Dude is a bonafide stud. He made some amazing plays last night against top flight competition. The way he spun away from Kane last night in his own zone and then made a perfect breakout pass was a thing of beauty.
He's approaching 2008-2009 levels of Mikko pimping from me.

Pretty sure our whole offseason was based on this game, so I hope it's a good one. However, we've been really boring, lately. You'll probably trounce us.

It's you're own fault for letting run away rocket richard award favorite Daniel Winnik walk as a FA.

Sabres/Bruins games are always awesome. Everyone around here is amped for this game and everyone knows this has been circled on Buffalos calender for a very long time. The last game I went to was the Canucks game in Boston last January, and the last game before that was B's/Canucks game 4 of the cup. I just got out of school so there will be more opportunities, but the games I have gone to recently have all been epic.

So glad Hodgson was able to get that pass across. You know he wanted to, and Vanek is just too precise.
Scott took Thornton out of the game. Just has such an advantage as a fighter.

Vanek playing one of the best games I have seen in a long time. What a team to do this against, too. We looked toast at 3-1, but man, is there a better player in the league this year?

Blues win again tonight. Jackman and Redden have a combined 4 goals on the season. That's insane to me. Tarasenko scored again, dude is good.
Big game tomorrow vs the Redwings.

Flames out tank the Avs tonight. At this pace we're not going to be able to get Seth Jones.

Uh I would be if Detroit actually beat us. But the refs handed them the game.

Why did Anaheim ever switch from their old cartoony looking jerseys? Those were awesome, and their new ones suck so much.

The Lightning are an offensive juggernaut. I haven't seen Vinny play like this in a LONG time.

New ownership wanted to get away from the Disney image. So they decided to lose any kind of identity.
