Most shampoo dries hair out though, so be careful not to use too much. In the winter I only use shampoo every two or three days to keep some of the natural oils that keep your hair healthy, and just use water and rinse it thoroughly on the other days. Really, there is no reason for any fragrance shampoo, and you can get fine with just rinsing it out every day, but I'd imagine if I'd go more than three days without using shampoo my hair would get greasy, and I don't want that, just a natural shine.

My mom is a cosmetology instructor, so I pay $45 a pop for shampoo and conditioner that's scientifically designed to make my hair look fuller and also to slow down balding. I only use it every two to three days, though, which is what they suggest. Anything more than that can be damaging, and hair generally looks better on the second or third day after washing it.

This thread suddenly reminds me of that show "***** Eye for the Straight Guy".
