Dion Jordan over Jonathan Hankins for the Saints. NT is a need but far lesser a need than OLB. Our defensive line in the 3-4 is in place. WE need an outside pass-rusher.

Reid is not a 1st Rounder. Vaccro is the better safety right now.

[quote=Raiderz4Life;3265966]Especially with Seymour and Kelly likely gone, DT has to be our #1 need. It'd be even better if we make the move to the 3-4 after this pick as well.

I can't see New England going for a player like Jordan, who played last season at around 225 pounds. Bill Belichick's size requirement in the defensive front seven is one of the strongest leads when projecting Patriots picks. The defensive scheme requires the ability to control blockers and occupy two gaps; Jordan doesn't do that at all. I'd be very cautious about projecting Jordan as someone who can play at 255-265 pounds without losing any athleticism.

If the board falls that way, I can dig Richardson. I think he's a very good schematic fit for us, especially if Marks is lost in FA.

Prefer an edge rusher to a DT for Oakland. We can fix the middle of the line far easier than the edges.

If Werner is there I'm with you 100%, I'd be a bit disappointed though if we pass up Star for Moore

So what has the middle been broken for a decade? Disagree totally. We need YOUTH and TALENT at the DT spot for a change.
