His big play ability and athleticism make him one of the toughest match ups in D3. Rogers has led Cal Lutheran to a Top 10 ranking in the BSN Top 25 and D3Football.com. Rogers currently ranks 2nd in the nation in both receiving yards and receptions per game.

5. Allen Cain PK Texas Lutheran 6’2” 195 lbs (SR) - Allen Cain has one of the biggest legs that we have seen at the D3 level in a while. Cain has already nailed field goals of 59, 50, 48, 42, and 41 yards this year. Cain is 11 of 14 for FGs and is tied for 1st in the nation in Field Goals Made. His leg and accuracy have helped keep Texas Lutheran in games.

9. Nate Wara QB UW Oshkosh 6’1” 220 lbs (SR) - A second team D3Football.com Preseason All American selection has been showing why every week. Wara is in position to pass for over 2,000 yards and run for 1,000 yards this season. Those kind of numbers are a feat that has rarely been done by a quarterback at any level. Wara has also made few mistakes this year for UW Oshkosh by only throwing one interception, while throwing seven touchdowns in a run heavy offense. Wara has led UW Oshkosh into a D3Football.com Top 25 ranking. UW Oshkosh offense is in the Top 10 in rushing and total offense thanks to Wara. The Oshkosh matchup with Whitewater could make Wara a front runner in the Gagliardi award.
Chris Haupt ----38 passing TDs in 2012
6. Chris Haupt QB Widener 6’1” 235 lbs (SR) - Week in and week out Chris Haupt has been putting up big numbers for Widener. Haupt is averaging 314 yards passing per game and currently leading the nation in touchdown passes with 24. He is also in the top 10 of D3 in efficiency, while having a 65% completion percentage. Haupt has helped lead Widener to a 1st place in the Middle Atlantic Conference. Widener does have tough match ups left against rivals Lycoming and Delaware Valley to finish the season. Haupt could put himself in the Gagliardi’s front runner position with top performances in those games.
