Are we going to have any FA money to play with? Big cuts?

The Falcons could open up 12.9M with 2 cuts. they could also free up another 6 with a Ryan extension.

Turner and who? Think we'll go for a big FA?

The Falcons will have to sign at least a couple of free agents expected to start. There's too many needs to rely entirely on rookies.

Samuel and Franks. But Mcclain is a ERFA and Grimes would be easier to re-sign this year.

I wouldnt mind cutting Robinson and drafting a cornerback in the first round. Add some playmaking with a guy like trufant.

Michael boley released. I think he would be an upgrade and pretty cheap.

Bradshaw isn't bringing this run game anywhere, JMO. I would rather not go the Packers route.

I agree, we need a young guy that fits the bill or we will be finding a new back every year.

The O-Line needs improvement, for the right price I would like
to see us make a pitch to Andy Levitre....I doubt the Patriots
are going to let Sebastian Vollmer slip out of their hands.

As time passes by I'm becoming more and more open to other positions. I wouldn't be disappointed with an offensive lineman like fredricks or fluker, in a running back like lacy or a defensive end. One of the 20. Hell, i would probably be fine with kevin minter or trufant . Pasd Rush is obviously the biggest need but I think there will be better players at other positions due to the high demand for defensive lineman across the league. I still don't want a tight end

I hope we don't get a TE early either, just praying Gonzo returns. We more help on defense, that's the biggest need.

I just feel like our passing offense is going to be a strength regardless. A new tight and will find holes regardless do to the threats on the outside and if not Harry Douglas will come through with a better season. If we are going to try to improve the offense it needs to be the running game

I agree with this completely. There never will be another Gonzo and whoever we draft wont even be him. As long as we get a serviceable guy thats all we need. We have plenty of big time receivers to make the plays. And having a better running game than what we did will help that as well.
I feel like it is a draft where itd be pretty tough for us to make a bad pick.

RB Eddie Lacy
OT DJ Fluker
OG Jonathan Cooper
OG Travis Frederick
DE Alex Okafor
DE Datone Jones
LB Kevin Minter
LB Alex Ogletree
CB Johnthan Banks
CB Desmond Trufant
All guys I think I would be satisfied with, these being players who are in that late round one, early round two range. With Dimitroff, he may say that a DE could be a difference maker and you see us trade up for a guy like Ansah.

Ifhte Falcons draft Lacy in the first I'll throw something breakable. Not a fan.

Why? Has to be a reason you're not a fan of him, just curious as to what it is?
His one season wonder? Him benefiting running behind best line in college football? Injuries? Value of running backs not being what they used to be?
Im sure its some of these things but I know you do your homework so would like a little more detail so we can have a discussion about it.

If not Lacy then no back in round one IMO... Gio Bernard never jumped off the screen to me and I don't think he fits what we want anyways.

IMO were looking for a power back to carry the ball 15 times a game and establish a running game that keeps teams honest. Were a passing team and will be for a long time, the league has changed.
