I don't understand how you can play basketball your entire life and still have your shot look like Blake Griffin's. He's probably been told since he was 12 years old not to shoot with that ugly ass hitch in his shot and he's not going to develop a dependable jump shot until he loses it.

Coordination is different for people that size. It's more difficult.

There are some special cases where a guy is extremely gifted but generally speaking the larger you are the less coordinated you are. Chandler can barely catch.

The majority of big men are not good shooters compared to guards. This is a fact. Naming 5 or 6 extremely gifted big men doesn't do anything but highlight how gifted those players are.

Smaller people who have played basketball and hit 75-80% of their FTs and can shoot jumpers sometimes try to argue that big men who can't don't work hard at it. That's not true.

He could be worse, but 37% from 16-23 feet is not good.

Especially given the fact that defenders usually give him that shot.
